Discovered this place because I wanted to eat paranthas for brunch one day. I’ve tried their mooli (radish) and aloo (potato) parantha, and my favorite is the mooli parantha (it’s very similar to how my mom makes!) The paratha is the size of a 12” pizza, it’s really bigg! Great for sharing. It comes with white butter, pickle, onions and yogurt.
Their salty lassi makes for a nice accompaniment with the food. The lady who took the order was sweet enough to add some mint to it when I by mistake ordered asked for chaach (buttermilk, not on their menu) and she was curious what ingredients typically go in it.
Also tried their amritsari kulcha the 2nd time we went. The kulcha comes all buttered on top (maybe one can ask for the butter on the side), it is stuffed with paneer and some green chillies, not spicy. It comes with chhole (garbanzo beans) pickle, onion and yogurt.
For me, the spot is great for stuffed paranthas! I prefer that over amritsari kulcha.
It’s a small cafe with a couple chairs, would probably have 8-10 tables inside. The paranthas are definitely better when you eat it right there. We also did take out once and they tasted pretty...
Read moreWorst service received at any restaurant.. Ill-mannered waitress & bad food.. We had ordered Chhole Bhature but how silly can a restaurant be and serve chana masala instead of chhole that are supposed to be served with bhaturas. To add to this, the waitress didnt even have the courtesy to get glasses for water, nor were the spoons n forks given, when asked for tissues after having lunch those were not given too inspite of asking for the same. The way of handing over the bill was literally throwing it on the table! Shame on a restaurant like this located in such a good location like Redmond..Doesnt even deserve a 1 star because of the bad food & uncourteous and ill-mannered behaviour of the silly waitress.. Dont ever waste your time and money at this silly place. The restaurant should at least teach basic etiquettes and manners to its staff first then carry on...

I was really excited to try "Indian Fast Food" (based on their sign). The food was relatively quick compared to the typical sit-down restaurant, but I surely wouldn't call it fast food based on speed, cost, (a bit high for FF) or food quality (way better than most fast food).
I was a little bummed to find out it was a Vegetarian only restaurant (I LOVE my chicken Tikka). This is obviously thier right and the wife was cool with it. I just wish I knew before I was standing at the menu board searching with dreams of my chicken Tikka.
That said, the food was VERY flavorful and freshly made. Great taste and texture, I just missed my meat. My bride was fully satisfied though.
There was indoor seating with smaller tables and it was clean. Nothing fancy but it surely meet all the basic...
