I've lived near a Orchard Supply Hardware my entire life and I've only ever had out of stock issues. You can pretty much find anything you need to repair, replace or build a new garden here. They have a lot of home lawn care but they also have a pretty decent variety of pipe and fittings. Only little things though. Like Orchard only stocks 1" copper pipe, 1" gas pipe (galv or black) and 1" PVC (water and electrical) . I have seen black ABS pipe up to 3" though. No cast iron fittings or pipe sold here, but they have an absolute wonderful stock pile of string, rubber tubing, tie downs (light duty chain and rope), and screws and bolts (nothing super heavy duty). They always have a great selection of Carhartt apparel as well as big supply of Tools. They cashier folks honestly don't know much about where things are located in the store but I have had 100% success rate with the fellow employees patrolling the hallways. It's also a bit more expensive than most supply houses (including home depot) but they always have the standard parts in stock. I would call ahead to your local store if you're in a pickle with parts. They normally don't stock things like check valves, oddball reducers, or an abundance of pipes. They have a great paint...
Read moreCame in and bought a $5.00 stud finder didnât work as well so I came in trying to exchange it not return it but exchange it. The cashier called a lady over didnât get her name but Iâm guessing she was a Manager didnât bother to look at the receipt I had just purchased it less then 30 minutes ago. she was super rude saying she wonât be able to take it back due to the packing being ripped. I asked her to point at the return policy on the receipt where it stated ripped packaged items couldnât be returned and she went on saying it wasnât her policy but the stores policy. I myself run a retail store and customers always come in with open packaging we either return the item no questions asked or we let customers know when final sale items that canât be returned. I took the time to take a look at your return policy and nowhere does it list that you have the right to refuse a return if the packaging is ripped. That lady does not need to be working retail instead of trying to find a solution for your customers she seems to escalate the issue further. Iâd advise to get her better training on customer service she got so mad about the issue she finally said to just return it and walked away huffing...
Read moreI really donât know where to start. I loved OSH- this is NOT the same. Itâs pretty obvious they are only selling the inventory- nothing new- items missing tags, etc.
No tags on STIHL - directed me to use the kiosk- no accessories- no prices- just selling what is on the floor- without any information...
They have a ton of people working that are clueless- waited 8 minutes to buy a handsaw that was inventory protected. Great guy said my item would be at Register 1 when my family was done shopping. He seemed surprised at no prices, but, not helpful.
15 minutes later- no one at registers had a clue. The clerk told me to wait. Um- no- that was at LEAST 10 minutes ago. She sighs, and says, Iâll have to radio this in.
Omg. REALY? there are like 8 customers in the store- and at least that many employees hanging out at check out! Radio away!
Too many workers- no clue at operations-!this place will sink- letâs get the clearance deals- cuz there is nothing else Good, that I saw there.
No, I wonât give you a phone number, no I donât want to give you my...
