Rehoboth Beach Bandstand — Attraction in Rehoboth Beach

I love the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand! They have some local bands play as well as bands from surrounding states. The farthest group were Peruvian or Inca Indians performing their native dances in their tribal outfits. Many groups invite the children onstage to dance, sing, & play an instrument (washboard when Zydeco band played). They have had several tribute bands play (Bon Jovi, Eagles, The Beatles, Elvis). They have bands/groups of all different genres (rock, classic rock, R & B, country, Zydeco, "Yacht Rock", reggae, orchestras, several Armed Forces bands, orchestras, & choirs! They have even been showing movies in July & August with the screen on the bandstand! The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand is a wonderful, family friendly, FREE evening of music, dancing & singing! They even block off the street so no buses, trolleys, or other vehicles make too much noise during the movie or concert! You can dance in the street safely! The view of the Atlantic Ocean is awesome! Lots of restaurants, candy, caramel popcorn, boardwalk fries, ice cream, funnel cake, & pizza right across the street of the bandstand! My family & friends love going to the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand every summer! The DART bus & Jolley Trolley pick people up on the back side of the Bandstand's building, which has a change machine there, & restrooms, too! Plan a trip, you won't regret visiting The Rehoboth...

We’ve been attending the bandstand just about every weekend for 2-3 yrs during the summer. (Local residents) Bet we’ve only had to miss only maybe six entire weekends in all that time. We’ve also noticed that the quality of the entertainment seems to be getting even better over time. (Thanks Corey)
