The Virginia Street Bridge was a historic concrete double arch bridge in downtown Reno, Nevada, US, carrying Virginia Street across the Truckee River. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The bridge is sometimes referred to as the "Wedding Ring Bridge" or the "Bridge of Sighs".

Well the new bridge is in place unfortunately Virginia street is closed shortly passed the bridge still on a years long project. Reno is not known for expediency in road repairs it took a few years for them to get the new bridge in. Actually in 45 years I'm not sure they've ever had all the roads open. We travel to Reno and Tahoe frequently, but our favorite times are the winter and spring.
This winter was spectacular for snow, and the snow melt filled the river in downtown Reno.
It is a great park just to soak up sun, enjoy the sounds of the river and the sound of laughter, and basketball players on the playground. Bring a box lunch and enjoy.
