I used to eat here all the time. One day I came in to order pizza and there was this pregnant lady who came in with a friend. The business has their pizza that sits out on display (possibly all day how would they know how long it has been there) I overheard the lady order a veggie pizza and there was one slice that was left of it. She asked as nice as possible if they could make a new batch since... She's pregnant she wanted to be extra careful (I'm guessing it's her first pregnancy maybe, or maybe she suffers from something) but the owner says no. It's first in first out. And refuses to help her. So I stand up buy the LAST slice of pizza so this poor pregnant lady can eat. Of course it doesn't help that the high schooler taking the order is giving a non chalant attitude of I don't give a... The owner gives me this dumb founded look literally eyes wide and mouth open like 'am I really going to buy it?' and I'm just like if your not going help a pregnant lady with ONE slice of pizza that was literally $2 then I will, so you'll make a new one now right? I asked. Of course they did. And the kicker is that just after all that happened a family boasted about how they recieved a free pizza, probably his family but still. It's a pregnant woman and $2 slice of pizza. If there was a whole or even 1/3 of pizza there I'd totally understand. The food is good but I haven't been back after witnessing...

If I could give 100 stars, I would! Firstly, I am not from here and this was my first time in Reno. I had to order a large order for our wrestling team's dinner. I was searching pizza places near me and I'm a stickler for choosing the best rated/ reviewed places. I saw pizanos and it was the best rated pizza near us. I first spoke to Jacob, who was very patient with me while ordering as it was very loud where I was. After he took my order, we were having issues with payment. Since we weren't too far from there, my husband and I decided to walk over. We get there and we were greeted by Marky.(I'm spelling that wrong, I'm sorry lol) She was very sweet and took care of us once we got there. She gave us water cups and showed us immaculate service. Our order was done in about 20-25 min when we thought would be over an hour. Since we walked, Marky insisted that they'd give us a ride back with all these pizzas and wings lol. It was silly on our part to think we could walk back but just the fact that it wasn't even a question to help us was mind blowing. I've never met anyone so willing to help. They are incredibly kind and helpful individuals. I greatly appreciate the awesome experience. Pizza & wings were great 100/10! Everyone loved it and couldn't stop saying how good it was. Thank you so much guys....

Horrible all across the board. I am from out of town staying at a nearby hotel. I called and asked if they still delivered. The response was "for 6 more minutes." I took that as a yes. While the delivery came way before promised (only bonus points given) the delivery guy was awkward as hell. He knocked. I opened the door. He reached in to pull out the pizza. I extended my non pizza recieving hand out with a $5 tip (the bill was around $24 for one pizza so around a 20% tip after sales tax). The squirrelly fella refused my tip. The reason stated, was he wanted the cc slip signed so he could get back to work. I then offered to tip on the cc slip instead, and he refused that too!!! He stated "some of us got to work 2 jobs." Which was a mindblowing response. He has to work 2 jobs but he refuses money he was offered and deserved??? I opened the box and found out why he didn't want extra money. My large pizza was smooshed into the left 3rd of the box. The pizza itself appeared undercooked and quite frankly I was scared to even eat it. Especially withThe whole covid mask thing (although it's required) just made the whole situation appear that much more strange....

This is a review I’m torn on. Four stars because of the wings. The sandwich is freaking awesome. The flavors are a combination I did not expect and they work great. The pizza is kind of cheaply made, but it’s drunk food. You’re not looking for quality. The issue is the meatballs and the sauce. They’re overcooked and have zero flavor. The only real issue is my wings were undercooked. They’re spinet and pink. I’m hoping I don’t have food poisoning for my flight tomorrow. I’m biting carefully into them. I also ordered hot and they’re anything but spicy. Overall I’d order them again mostly just because they’re open if I wanted pizza. If I wanted sandwiches it is a definite yes. Wings, I can’t judge because mine were undercooked.

After an extensive two months trying to find the most delectable meatball sub in all of Reno, I am pleasantly shocked to say that Pizanos Pizza is the clear winner. Our journey took us across Reno's best local sandwich shops, and pizza joints. Little did we know our last spot change to Pizanos would be so mind blowing. Their meatball sub aced all our ranking factors. Good ratio of sauce/meatball/bread/cheese? Perfect. Quality of sauce and meatball? Savory, herby, moist. Amount of sandwich? It felt like we got two for the price of one. It was remarkable. Anyone looking for the perfect comfort meatball sub on a foggy day, you must visit Pizanos

I don't know how this place has such high ratings, previous patrons don't seem to know what good pizza is. The positive note is that the order was delivered on time as quoted (just before midnight) and the driver was competent and friendly. Pizza crust was dense and sauce had no flavor. Breadsticks were flavorless and the dipping sauce tasted like Ragu from a jar. Didn't finish half the pizza or more than one breadstick, it just wasn't worth eating.
