Not worth the price of the food or the price to park. Honestly a bit of a scam, if you ask me, but I guess Reno is the place for that. Servings were abysmal, we ordered 5 plates for two people, which were all priced like large appetizers or full meals, but were the size of small tasting appetizers.

One of the menu items was "Patatas Bravas", which was absolutely false advertising. As someone who has been to Barcelona, even the sketchy dive bars in Spain have better patatas bravas than here. Not only was it not spicy at all, it was bland. It's honestly a flat-out lie to call their potatoes this. Their mushroom/gruyere puff pastry dish was extremely dry, even the mushrooms, and entirely too flaky. The actual puff pastry technique was accurate, but was it worth what it cost? No. The burrata dish was arugula, a noticeably unripe tomato, one burrata ball that was halved in two, and a balsamic glaze, all of which could be done at home for far less. The exact kind of thing I hate about fake Italian food. We also ordered the zucchini/yellow squash dish, which was entirely bland and boring, even in presentation. The only good thing that I ate tonight was the lemon/ricotta ravioli, but there were only three raviolis served.

Frankly, I've had better food in the middle of nowhere in Nebraska than what was offered here. Considering that minimum wage is $12/hr in Reno, our bill would be equivalent to over 8 hours of work, a full work day, and neither of us were even full after eating.

The service was friendly, and I liked my cider. Perhaps the drinks are better than their food. But I would not come back, and frankly, I'm upset that I wasted my time there in order to be essentially denied a decent meal. There are much better...

Quite possibly some of the most overpriced food I’ve ever had. The concept of tapas is lovely but this place completely ruined it. The whole point should be that you get less, spend less per plate, so you can try a lot more; when most of the things are $15 or more per plate it’s highly unreasonable to realistically try that much. If it was incredible food I wouldn’t have a problem, but it’s excessively mediocre. They rely heavily on salt and richness to achieve something resembling flavor, and it does a disservice to the ingredients they are using. Also, as a bartender I found the cocktails disappointing. The Old Fashioned (Old Thyme) had no trace of thyme in it, the mule no trace of cinnamon, and it’s a disgrace to the offer a Bourbon Bramble that’s been butchered completely in execution. The only thing I enjoyed were the sliders, but that isn’t saying much because how hard is it really to mess up a slider? Also, charging $6 for a handful of fries, no matter how good, should be an imprisonable offense. I had high expectations because the group I was with had been before and raved pretty highly about it, but they were all equally dissatisfied. I feel ashamed how America so often misappropriates a beautiful thing...

This place has really gone downhill. Went here for Valentine’s Day this year since we normally like it and wanted the tapas experience but was very disappointed. Atmosphere was ok, but the restaurant was overcrowded with tables, but no one was at any of the tables. And apparently they got rid of glass drinking glasses for the plastic ones you’d find in a cafeteria.

Also made me laugh when they threatened to cancel our reservation via text and I showed up to a restaurant filled with mostly empty tables.

The food was not good. The Filet was overdone and bland (asked for medium rare, got medium well) and the lamb was also lackluster. The veggies weren’t anything special, just steamed and unseasoned.

The service was good, but for an appetizer, two entrees, and a couple drinks we were in it about $300. Which is insane considering the quality of the food.

We used to really like this place, but unfortunately that was probably our last visit. I was going to give it another try, but seeing the way in which the owner replies to critical reviews has turned me off from both this and skyline kitchen forever. So defensive and fragile, and you can tell they don’t listen...

I would only come here for the cocktails, or if you have a gift card. I came here a while ago for cocktails and had a really solid experience. Bartender was nice, place was pretty empty, cocktails were solid, prices weren't that bad. The bar is kind of awkwardly placed in the dining area, but it seems to be the best spot given the layout of the place. Then I got a gift card to come here, and came for dinner. I've found that tapas places in general are either amazing, or horrible, and unfortunately Sierra St (for me) falls more into the latter. The Bruschetta was basically any old counter-top toasted loaf of sourdough and some tomatoes form the nearest store. Mac & Cheese was filling which was nice. Prime Filet Medallions were great, well cooked and great plating. What was astonishing was the seared scallops with risotto dish we had. The risotto was so insanely bland, I was half expecting to see Gordon Ramsey come out of the woodwork and throw it at someone. Seriously though, look at the attached image. It's just plain arborio, no seasoning... what?????????? Would not come back here for food unless it was at least 75% off.

I reviewed this place on Yelp and the business owner didn’t like my honesty. Screenshots attached. Here is my review of this place. It is now a 1 star because of the ugly response of the business owner. I do NOT recommend coming here. 2/26/2022 First time coming to this place as a visitor in a new city. Upon arriving we were not greeted and the layout of the restaurant was terrible. There was hardly any space to turn around, I felt like I was in a crowded club. We ordered the duck nachos and crab cakes. Our food was cold and it just was not good. I don't understand how this is a tapas or small plate restaurant and they can't even make the small amount of food you get taste good. I do not recommend coming here for even an appetizer. It was subpar.

Absolutely fell in love with this intimate classy small steakhouse shared small plate & cocktail wine flavor dinning and bar. Went on a Sunday early afternoon 3pm which was perfect for 2 friends to have a place to themselves. I imagined it was only for us. The menu is the most perfect menu in Reno for people to share dishes amongst each other from the prime rib to the stuffed mushrooms lemon shrimp, scallops & the white wine was superb It was a beautiful day so we picked the table for 2 right by the open sliding doors where you could breath and feel the beauty outside. The service was spectacular and the recommendations on point. This will definitely be my go to place. Stop by & give it a shot. You won't be disappointed 🙂
