First 80 degree day in Reno 2023!

This photo array was taken @ 9 am from Lake St to Arlington Ave on the northside of the Reno Riverwalk.

It was very nice out, the Truckee running high & cold from our famous endless winter and the sun Shone brightly thru.

Days like this draw Reno out & about. All were happy & cordial in passing. Very cool.

It was really nice for the most part. We came out from Sac so we were hoping for a nice riverwalk to follow up the trip to GSR. The spot we stopped at had water, some geese yelling at some ducks, some nice scenery and cool places to sit and enjoy the weather. I would've liked to have brought some food because we were hungry. I wanted to get some good pictures of this stained glass dolphin looking statue but when we got closer there were some houseless people chillin around and a lot of the glass was broken. A little disappointing....

Even on a brisk, cold December morning, a walk at the Truckee river is really enjoyable. Many people know Reno for the casinos but there is a lot of beauty to see in its urban design, modern and old school housing architecture, and generally vibe around the downtown area. This spot is scenic and nice to relax and warch people go by in all seasons. If you just need a bit of time outdoors in the middle of the biggest little city,...
