Sunrise Nails — Attraction in Richfield

Came here a couple days ago, I asked for a manicure and it took about 20 min until it was finally my turn. OK so far, I understand that it might take a while, afterwards though as the lady was doing my nails at the time, another woman walks and the lady who was doing my nails literally walks up and stops in THE MIDDLE of my nail job and helps the lady that walked in. Excuse me what? She tells me she's sorry and starts doing her pedicure. I'm sitting there thinking to myself this can't actually be serious. 25 minutes afterwards I finally am helped by another person but I was going to be late for work so I didn't go through with finishing, needless to say terrible customer service. I originally used to go to Envy salon in Edina for my acrylic full set and the maintenance but after inconsistency of quality and the feeling of being rushed - I decided to find a new salon closer to me. I called short notice on my birthday to get an appointment after work for an acrylic fill and gel polish and the owner, David, was able to get me in. He was my nail technician, too. Wow!!! He performed very precise amazing work on my nails from start to finish and made sure to finish it off with the cuticle oil. When it was time to pay, I couldn't believe the price! I was paying about $15 dollars at my old salon and they didn't even perform half of the things Sunrise did for my service. I can definitely say I am very impressed as a first time customer. Easy to get walk-in appointment at Richfield location. Asked for regular manicure. Declined gel. "Just regular. No gel." Picked a color. Declined gel again. "No, I do not like gel. No gel, please." Sat down with nail tech (and a bottle of the selected polish). Then, still ANOTHER worker walked over to tell me they have the gel equivalent of what I picked and that gel is stronger. For the third time in 90 seconds, FFS, NO GEL! "No thank you, I hate gel." In the end, the manicure was, as requested, basic and fine. Nails polished and there was no bleeding. The hand massage was very weak and so very brief. No cuticle oil. No hot towel. Solidly average.
