Wendy the assistant manager is racist, unprofessional, and does not respect anyone’s time. Me and my brother stood in line for nearly 7 hours to pre order the Switch 2 and she would not sell both of us a console. When we made it to the counter this woman went out of her way to single us out and ask her associate who was assisting me with my pre order to cross examine me and brothers licenses (Something she did not do to any of the other groups of people who were clearly related) to see if we lived at the same address. She claimed that they only allowed 1 pre order per household, but nowhere online or in store said anything about pre orders being limited to “1 per household”. The sign posted on the door and online all say “1 per customer”
My brother worked a nightshift and I took time off work to line up to pre order and I couldn’t get a preorder because Wendy decided she didn’t care. I’m never shopping at this gamestop again. Read moreIve been going to GameStop for years and always hated the amount of swindling they do in regards to the total trade in values for used games that I have brought in to get in store credit for. Buying a game for $60 that I play for a few months and then bring back to trade and only get a measly $10-$15 bucks or so if im lucky… Nevertheless I still returned to keep accepting defeat and live with my saltiness.. If you want more value for anything you plan to sell back to GameStop, I recommend considering other options like online apps or selling to friends. Or be like me and continue to be swindled...

The service model is obviously flawed with no follow thru. I bought a pre-owned system but the controller was broken. I've been trying to contact the store as I don't live in town and there has been no efforts to handle the phones.
