The Bowl Sushi & Grill — Restaurant in Moreno Valley

Very sad to report this. Love love love the food, but they broke a cardinal rule.

I took my food home, to find no utensils, napkins, soy sauce, chopsticks, trays for the soy, or the sauce that is supposed to come with the chicken bowl.

Called to let them know. It was their first mistake, so I wasn't even really mad. The young lady was very pleasant, then a gentlemen got on the phone and insisted that I was wrong. He repeatedly told me over and over that I was incorrect and that he had put all of the things mentioned above in the bag. I kindly told him that he was incorrect, and he continued to argue with me.

I went out and checked my vehicle to make sure even though with how tight the bag was tied there was no way it could have spilled, it was not in there. I took my food back and the gentleman in person still would not admit that he had made a mistake. This may not bother many people, but if a business is hiring someone who is dishonest, and standing behind them, then how do we know the quality of what they do behind the scenes? Can you trust a business that stands behind employees when they lie?

I am very disappointed in the actions of management. I am also very disappointed that I will not be eating here again as the food is actually quite great for the price. I even told the gentleman "even if I am wrong, as a business owner, you should never call the customer a liar. "

Really good sushi! I am a picky sushi eater and tend to be a tough critic. I strongly dislike when sushi is supersized unnecessarily and you have to either overstuff your mouth or bite the sushi in half and let it spill all over your plate. This place hit the mark. Sushi runs about $8-10 and seems to be on the longer end so I would say that it is worth the price. We also ordered pot stickers (or whatever the similar product is to that) and they were fried in too high of heat, so they came out burnt looking and also did not have enough flavor. If it weren't for the pot stickers, I would have given the place 5 stars. This is fancy restaurant sushi in a sleeper retail lunch spot. I would definitely go back again and would even consider it for a date night (despite it not being date night atmosphere). I generally am very detailed in the places I review however I just have to say this place is amazing, amazing, amazing. I currently am on a fast and the have these bowls that are super delicious extraordinary and filling. When I am not fasting I usually get the combo shrimp & steak bowl with no raddish and white rice.

The teriyaki sauce is the finishing touch that completes the bowl

Now... The bowls are amazing I can't say that enough but you will not believe it if you didn't see it but they actually have sushi made all by Hispanic guys. I say that with all due respect as most people know traditionally sushi is primarily made by Asian's. These guys know how to make some mouth watering...
