Signature Nails and Spa — Attraction in Riverside

To be honest, I'm disappointed in my experience here. I don't go to nail salons often-- I think the last time I went to get a manicure was almost 8 years ago. I wanted to get my nails looking pretty for Thanksgiving, nothing too crazy, just a gel manicure to get my nails looking neat. I chose this place because the reviews are good. When I got there I was happy that they were able to get me seated with a nail tech almost immediately. However, almost everything after that went downhill. Firstly, she didn't trim my nails. My nails are pretty short so I didn't need them trimmed for length, but the shapes of the nails are a bit uneven, so trimming/filing them into shape would have been nice. Next she did a really lackluster job with the cuticles, I still have remnants of cuticles she didn't trim on my nails. Lastly, there's gel polish all over the skin of fingers, she didn't even bother cleaning it up before curing my nails. Oh, also, before the manicure even happened, there was about a 5 minute dialogue of the nail tech and her friend next to her saying that I needed to get acrylics because mine were "too short", and that "Oh, you want pretty nails for the holiday, right? Get acrylics." They knew from the beginning that I wanted a gel manicure, the pressure to get acrylics was unnecessary and just made me feel bad. This manicure cost me 35 dollars and I feel like I received a half-complete job. TLDR: If you're not getting acrylics, choose somewhere else. It's clear the techs only put effort into people getting those. Part of me was hoping that this experience would be pleasant enough that I would start getting my nails done again with more frequency, but I don't think that's...

Horrible service!! It’s suck say this would be last time coming here. The only reason I come to this place because there that one lady works there & she does amazing JOB ON PED. I ask the laddies if she still work here? But yet they look at me like if they didn’t understand ENGLISH AND completely IGNORED! Bad costumer SERVICE! yet but they continue talking in there Vietnamese language Which I don’t understand what they’re are saying I felt the vibe completely different . Knew they saying something bad . Even mother in law felt like she wanted just walk out. I felt bad I told her not to go. Just to stay. It doesn’t look right my mom and I get ours done but not her. Anywho I wished I knew her name all I can say she amazing old lady. It took us 2hrs just to be seen. For myself ,mom & mother in law in. We were waiting patiently fKid you not my pedicure last me only 15mins at the most my pedicure last me at least 45mins so. I felt so pressure the lady who did my pedi ask me Repeatedly over and over if I wanted color. Simply i told her NO. But yet again I was undecided because Valentine’s was around the corner . All she ever did soak my feet with water massage & cut . Normally when I get my pedicure done at that location in a RIGHT WAY! they would turn the machine on & starts bubbling meanwhile they add some powder soap on the tub. .. which they did not.. so I end up telling her I don’t want color . I felt her she was mad for fact I chose not getting the color. Oh well I have reason why . . I’m so embarrassed to myself taking my mothers to this place . End up being bad. I totally get it if you ARE BUSY ! Let us know . You in rush & you can’t get this done...

So I went to this place to get my nails done before an event after I couldn't get two other places to answer the phone. First things first, they do not take appointments, but told me they would write me down to have an appointment anyway. That was promptly ignored when I walked in at the same time as two other people and I spend 45 minutes sitting and waiting. Which is, whatever, they said they don't take appointments to begin with so they probably shouldn't have said they would anyway.

I opted to get a manicure and a pedicure. My experience here was the same as many other people. They did a decent job with the manicure, I got acrylics and gel and they look very nice. The Pedicure is appalling bad. The woman who was doing my pedicure picked up the bottle in the color I picked then complained that there wasn't enough and it was in old only to be told to be quiet and that it was fine by the person doing the pedicure. I was willing to go with a different color and had one in mind but was told be him that it was fine before I could give them a second color option. To his credit, the same polish was used for my manicure and looks fine.

However, the pedicure is the sloppiest pedicure I've ever had. It is uneven, she pained the polish onto my skin both in front of and behind my toe nails so that when it came away it left a sharp edge that I've had to file down. It's already peeling off my nails in at least one place because it as also applied to my skin. The last time I had a pedicure it lasted almost 2 weeks before it started chipping This hasn't even made it 24 hours.

So if you want a manicure, go ahead, but skip...
