I give 2 faulty stars to the Ulta in Eastvale off of Limonite. The last THREE times I have bought products at Ulta, the sales associates have not exactly been passionate about their jobs. I had to be the one with a personality on each occasion. Fine. Not all people are "people" people. But I didn't receive a gift on my birthday (I know, such a brat. But come on...Sephora throws the HOOK UP right in your face. No hard-sell, just a display with what you get for any points you wish to redeem and a generous gift handed over). Not only did I not get my gift, she was less than helpful so I blew it off. Don't need another mascara but I have teen daughter's that would like it! Then I brought my kid in to by stuff for my other kid. Kid #2 is a makeup expert. She knew the full price Ariana Grande perfume came with a roller ball. She didn't get it. And, curiously, she didn't mention it but she's still irritated. Another non-friendly associate. The third and final time? It was the less-ambitious, unfriendly sales associate that did nothing to help me get the "Chocolate Bar" palette offered and advertised in their 21 Days of Beauty promo. Two products I came in for on the 16th were not in stock. SOL is what I was essentially told. Not only did they not carry what was advertised, I was not directed to any stores that may have it and I had no offers of getting it online. I was given a code for free shipping on any order I made from home. Big deal. I drove to Limonite to get my products on the day they were advertised. I'm not worried about shipping. And I still have no clue if the Chocolate Bar is discontinued. The only reason I gave them TWO stars is because they carry a decent supply of BULK-SIZE shampoo and conditioner, namely Joico. It is difficult...
Read moreThis review is for the salon and specifically for the “master stylist” Crystal. I’ve been to many Ulta salon locations and am quite familiar with the process. I made my appointment a day in advance. In my way to my appointment random traffic hit and I was running 10 minutes behind. The policy is you have the hour of your appointment to show and if your stylist is fully booked they will call to ensure you’re still coming and they can accommodate you. I received no call. As I was sitting at the light about to turn into the parking lot, I received a text saying my appointment was canceled. I called the salon to ensure I still had my appointment and let them know I was literally in the parking lot. Crystal answered in a very rude tone. As I explained, she cut me off, saying she doesn’t take new clients and all of her clients know she doesn’t accept anyone past 10 minutes late. I told her I understood, but was never informed of her policy until now and that I was here. She disrespectfully disregarded me saying she already has another client in her chair, but I could see another stylist. I explained I picked her because she was the master stylist, but she clearly never planned to take me on as a new client. I wearily accepted the other stylist. When I arrived, Crystal looked soo angry that I actually showed up. And stomped around looking for the girl to check me in. Thankfully my stylist Christina was a sweetheart! And did a fantastic job on my hair! She deserves 5 ⭐️ We connected and chatted openly during my appointment. The way a new client should be treated. Crystal is very rude and is not user friendly. I love ulta products and visit many locations often, but this stylist (Crystal) at this location provided...
Read moreI waited several days since my original appointment (Sat. 9/23) was supposed to occur to post this. This review is based off my last interaction with master stylist Merina. The first time she did my hair she was amazing. Got a keratin treatment/trim. I booked an appt. 6 weeks after she did my initial keratin treatment/trim. On my appt. day-Sat. 9/23/23 12pm. I get there & everything is still fine. I get sat down to get a shampoo & next to my chair is the storage area with all the products. Merina begins to frantically try & find the keratin treatment. She leaves for a bit & comes back to tell me that she doesn’t have the product. I explain that the main reason I came, was to get the treatment. She apologizes and tells me that they didn’t order it and that she is so frustrated. Here’s where the main issue occurs:
She tells me she’s going to go to the beauty supply on Sunday(9/24) since they open at 12 PM & then she will reach out to me & make things right. She tells me that she will message me via Instagram & keep me informed. I say okay & that as long as I can get it done before my event on Tuesday, I am good. She tells me not to worry that she will take care of it. Sunday at about 4pm I have not heard ONE WORD from her. I message her on Instagram and say, if I should assume that there is no good news on the keratin treatment? She replies and tells me that she’s sorry, but that she’s been so busy. I say OK and until this point haven’t heard back from her.
Made an appt. 6 weeks in ADVANCE. Unprofessional and ridiculous.
Do yourself a favor & take your...
