i recently had an issue with my gamestop pro account going to -40,000 points because of fraudulent activity, but i won’t even go into detail about it all here because it was such a headache. over the course of a month, i dealt with at least 5 different gamestop employees, multiple calls to gamestop pro customer service, and more. no one would help me. that was until i stopped in at this gamestop location and spoke to an employee named Ronny/ Erin (i’m not sure which name she prefers). she looked into the issue i was having in depth and called 3 or 4 different gamestop higher ups. i left my phone number and name with her so she could call me back when she had any updates. a couple hours later she called and told me that my account points should be back to normal soon. next day, my account points went back to normal.
Ronny/ Erin is the most kind, helpful and caring gamestop employee i have had the pleasure of speaking with. she solved this issue i had in one single day, that i had been trying to beg gamestop customer service to help me with for over a month. Read moreI came in 30 minutes before closing on Sunday and the girl (Erin?) working was rude, pushy, and kept trying to treat me like a child who doesn’t understand something. First I was not greeted because she was too busy eating and doing something on her phone - I can understand people want to go home, but it was well over 30 minutes before they closed and she then kept obnoxiously huffing & puffing the entire time I was in the store trying to browse the game, making it hard to shop without feeling like an inconvenience. Then as I was checking out she tried to charge me for the membership they offer without even asking and tried to justify why it was ok that she just put it on there by trying to make me feel dumb after trying to claim she was the manager - something I know isn’t true because I’ve talked to him before. I won’t be returning unless someone else is working because she’s trying to run scams on people and I feel bad for those who aren’t paying attention. Every store is busy this weekend, that's no excuse for the poorest of service possible. When asking about the BOIII bundle, not only did they not know how to answer my questions, they gave me incorrect answers. I know for a fact gamestop has a rewards program, how is there NO reward for purchasing a ps4 bundle? Idiots... Seriously, just stupid young kids who just want to get through their day and don't care about the customers. That's exactly how I felt when talking to these 2 employees. Really wish I knew their names. Some blonde broad and a taller skinny guy with dark hair. There used to be a bigger fella by the name of Rob "Robo" and he had worked their for years and he was always great with customers, knew what he was talking about and cared about his job.
