Called multiple days at multiple times. No one answers. There are two recordings that happen back to back. Second recording attempts to redirect to a general operator, where actual rings are heard. Then 'busy signal' is heard, and then phone disconnects. Almost every time this happens. Once, an irritated lady picked up the phone, openly reprimanded me for my mail being incorrectly sent to an address that I no longer live at (despite it being the online store's fault), then said she "doesn't know where my package is." I tried to offer my tracking number, but she repeated herself and then hung up. I called again a few days later seeing that the package was now at the post office, and since they weren't going to help, I just wanted to tell them to just leave it at the post office, so I could pick it up myself. They couldn't even guarantee me that but did ask for my tracking number this time to tell me exactly the same thing that it does online. I have to drive an hour out to pick up that package, so hopefully it is there.
It wasn't. I checked tracking again, and I decided to go to another branch/office/warehouse because the tracking for the package stated it was in a new zip code. I arrived at the location, and the lady asked me for an address. I told her I didn't know one because I've never lived in that zip code nor was there an address listed in the tracking. She then told me she couldn't find it in storage if she doesn't have an address. Then she didn't offer anymore help as to what I could do to find the package. She just started ignoring me, and continued with her day. I waited for a minute, and then she took a call, and then I waited another minute, and then she just got back on her computer. So I asked her what we could do about it. She became visibly frustrated and repeated herself, saying she couldn't do anything about it because someone had manually input their zip code without an address when they were out for delivery. So, it was just somewhere in the building, and she made no steps to trying to find it or contacting anyone to try to locate it. After a few more minutes of just waiting there, she said to herself out loud: "Oh, maybe it's..." and then walked out of the room. She returned asking what I was looking for, and I said that it was a package with cloth that I needed urgently. She said that wasn't it then, and then continued to ignore me for a few more minutes. I asked her if she could at least take my phone number, so that they could call me if it turns up, and she begrudgingly took it. Then I left. So...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe tracking for my package was set to deliver to my home, one hour before the delivery time was scheduled the status changed saying "Your package is being held at the usps courier per customer request" . However, I did not change the status of the delivery at any point. So I simply follow the directions on the USPS website and drive to the location it says it's at, wait in line for a long time only to be treated agressivly by the woman behind the second window from the main entrance. I tried to explain this situation with her but kept cutting me off and saying things like "ugh, I don't know why people won't just WAIT for their packages!". I don't even know why she said that to me, being that we were trying to pick it up per THEIR instructions. She then took the tracking and license, went back to look I believe and a few minutes later, another very annoyed looking woman named LINDA, came out with the license and was very short with me telling me that it's not there and it's on the mail truck still. Confused, I tried to ask why it would tell us to come pick it up if it was on the truck, and if it would be delivered to my house or that location. Linda kept cutting me off frantically, talking over me, trying to shoo me out of the place. I said to her "There is no animosity here, I just want to know where my package is going to end up" and she snapped back "WELL I'm just a window clerk, I don't know. You'll have to talk to a supervisor" leaned on the counter and smiled at me. I did not wait as I didn't have time and I honestly didn't think that she would have gotten a supervisor for me. I do not know why these women here we're so abrasive and rude to me, I did not say or do anything to provoke anyone. Just tried to ask questions to figure out where the package was, and two USPS government employees couldn't figure that out and we're relentlessly rude for no reason. It was truly a bizarre experience. Idk where my package is, but maybe it will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently moved and needed a mailbox key from the USPS, and my experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. First, I was asked to fill out a form and told to come back in a week. When I returned the following week, I found the office closed despite arriving during their posted business hours. Instead, temporary business hours were posted on blank paper with a sharpie, which was unprofessional and inconvenient. This happened again on my next visit. On my third attempt, I went early in the morning to ensure the office was open. I finally received my mailbox key, but when I asked if they held any mail for me, the clerk assured me that my mail should be in my mailbox. Upon returning home, I found none of my packages in the mailboxājust a key to an empty parcel box. This forced me to make yet another trip to the post office to collect my held mail. This entire process was unnecessarily time-consuming and poorly managed. The lack of professionalism and proper communication is unacceptable. I expect better service from a government agency responsible for handling our mail. Donāt ask me to give you an individual review with a QR code when your overall service at this...
