This was more than just a quick stop for ice cream. As soon as I walked in my attention was gravitated by the selection of chocolates and desserts. There was so much to choose from.

I ended up being persuaded to buy two of their Pavilion Collection chocolates: the Cookies & Cream and the P'Nuttie Delights. The Cookies & Cream was so incredibly rich and it made we want to never buy any of the corporate style candy bars again. The P'Nuttie Delights did not last me more than five minutes.

I came here for the ice cream, and I was not going to let the chocolate get in my way. My usual type of ice cream default flavor is anything chocolate or peanut butter chocolate. But since I was already hooked on the Pavilion Collection, I decided to go for something different. A cherry ice cream waffle cone was my choice. It was good and sweet, but I wish it had a little more cherry pieces in it...

The ice cream is good. The staff, however, is another story. During our last visit, my wife and I ordered ice cream for ourselves as well as our 3 kids. We also asked for some water. They asked is we wanted bottled water or tap. We said tap is fine. The lady who asked became visibly upset and murmured something about how its using up their product as she went to fill up the cup. This is completely unacceptable behavior. If they do not want to use their cups to give water to customers, they should not offer tap water as an option to begin with. Or, they can charge for the cup. She also only filled the cup half way and maintained her attitude problem. I enjoy their ice cream, but do not want to deal with unacceptable behavior from the staff selling me the products. Therefore, I am not sure I will return to this...

Very disappointed today. At 7:15 pm I bought a cup of Detroit Slam icecream and drove away. Upon tasting I found the icream was way (way!) too salty. So I returned and told the two girls at the counter that there seems something wrong with the icecream and asked if I could get a different icecream. One of the girls tasted some icream from their pot and said this how it is supposed to taste. The girls were unfriendly. They refused to change the icecream for me, said I would need to pay for another cup. I walked away very disappointed. What about customer satisfaction?? I have been coming regularly to this store for 4 years. But today was the last time! Owners take note.... you lost a loyal customer over a disliked cup of icream and unfriendliness of your staff who did not care about customer...
