I don't normally post negative reviews but this one had to be said. I ordered $3000.00 worth of furniture in April 2024. Super happy with everything no issues. I placed another order June 2024 for King size bed frame and matching dresser. They delivered both last weekend. When I took dresser out of box, I noticed it was damaged. Wood was split back of dresser and you can see staples. I called the store next business day and spoke to Mitch. He offered to send someone out to "repair" dresser. I said no, I shouldn't have to get repaired so soon I want a new one that is not damaged. I just paid $400 for this. He told me he has to check with store manager Wade and get back to me. I got a text next day stating that Wade approved for me to get a new dresser delivered to me this week. I said ok, and requested a discount for my future purchases since I still need matching tall chest dresser and end tables eventually. Now I have to go longer without a dresser. My clothes are everywhere etc. Mitch told me "normally if we have to send someone out to re delivery product, its a the customer expense and we are waiving that fee for you" ??? So let me get this straight......I was delivered a damaged product and you want ME to pay YOU to delivery me a new one?? Don't act like your doing me a favor lol. I couldn't believe this is how this company runs a business. Charging your customers to replace product when you gave it damaged. Due to the poor customer service in this situation, I will have to part ways with Slumberland and go directly through Ashley to finish my bedroom. So sad that they don't even care that people are spending thousands...
Read moreI bought a couch from them. The Set up was all right the guys came in real quick got delivered on time. But the recliner died on it less than 90 days of purchase. We also spent extra money on the warranty coverage. Call up slumberland they say they don't handle that here's and gave us a different number to call. We called that number, they gave us a link to fill out a claim. We did what they wanted which was a little ridiculous. It says they have up to 72 hours to respond. We haven't heard anything back and it's been almost a week. At this point I wouldn't waste your money at slumberland or on their warranty.
Update after having to post a bad review and now I have gotten somewhere. There is supposed to be somebody coming out to look at this couch today 6/27/25. We ordered it on 3/01/25 and got delivered two weeks after that. So we will see if this service tech shows up. I'll update my review later.
The tech came out very nice guy. Looked at it to determine it was a switch. And now we have to wait to see if slumberland has one in stock or if it has to be ordered. And then we have to make another appointment for him to come out and fix it. I will give another update.
Update still not fixed 7/16/25. if you're thinking about buying from here. Be very leery. Don't waste your money go somewhere else. At this point I'm going to file a complaint with The BBB.

I visited many furniture stores in Rockford, but either the items I liked couldn't be delivered within my required timeframe, or the selection didn’t match my tastes.

This year, when I needed another piece of furniture, there was no question about where to go. I went straight back to Debbie at Slumberland. Once again, she provided outstanding service.
