Bearskin Neck is a small neck of land that juts out of the town center into Rockport Harbor, and which according to legend was home to bears during colonial times. Currently it houses many Artisans and restaurants, making it a popular shopping desination, and is a picturesque walk anytime of the year. The look and feel has lended itself to be featured in several movies over the last 20 years. When you visit North of Boston , it is a must see area.
