I usually shop at this Hobby Lobby often, but my recent experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I asked an employee if the bedding was 50% off .. she didn’t stop walking, didn’t even look at me, and just said “should be.” Not very helpful at all.
At checkout, a fellow customer liked the stool I had in my cart but didn’t want to leave her spot in line, so I went to grab one for her while my wife continued checking out. When I came back, the total was $145, which didn’t make sense based on what we bought. I checked the receipt and saw that we had been charged twice for the same item.
I went back in and explained the situation to a man in a black shirt (possibly a manager), but he dismissed my concerns at first and said the pricing was correct. I explained it again and eventually he asked the cashier, who falsely claimed I had brought two blankets — which was impossible because they only stock one of each comforter.
I tried to clarify, even told him about the stool I helped another customer with, but he still didn’t believe me. After about 20–30 minutes of “checking the cameras,” he finally admitted that the cashier did in fact scan the same item twice. But instead of offering a quick fix, he told me to get back in line .. which had grown super long , and wait another 30–45 minutes just to get my refund.
Overall, this visit was exhausting. No one seemed to care or take accountability. The customer service was poor from start to finish. I come to this store often, but after this experience, I really think they need to retrain staff or bring in people who actually care about...
Read moreWent to this location for the first time Monday 17th in the afternoon. My mother wanted to go and pick up a few things. (My mother is in her 70s) The first section of the store I had a problem with was the material and ribbons. One worker won't acknowledge you when your looking in to the $900.00 seeing machine. So no sale for them. Then we had to ask about ribbon strand that were being sold as single strands. I made the mistake asking the lady who cuts material because she told me they can tell me when I'm checking out. It must have been hard for her to stand and do nothing that day. She could of called for a price check or simple found out. But I guess helping a customer is not her job. Then it gets worse with one one register open. My mother went to customer service are. Yes why it's called that I have no idea and this location does not know the meaning of customer service. I think she must of interuped the gossip the two ladies were doing because my mother asked are you open. The rude casher just pointed to my mother the other side of her register and kept tslking to other worker. Only when i said this is the rudest and worse loctstion i have eber been to. I also stated i would leave a review. Then and only then did the rude young lady start acting like she had some respect. How dare you be rude to an ederly person. She was never taught manners. Great job Hobby Lobby for some of the laziest and disrespectful employees...
Read morewent to the store and noticed that they had 75% off on fall Decour two days ago I’ve purchased a couple of items some small pumpkins for three dollars but it’s at 75% off so I wanted to return it and re-purchase it so I can get that money and I went up there. The manager was called she is a short, blonde haired, white lady who was very rude and very annoying to converse with. She simply said, I’m just not allowed to without any remorse. The customer is right policy should be upfront at hobby lobby, and I felt like this is racially motivated . She had an attitude at her face was permanently angry. I didn’t make a scene because it’s a dollar either but this is kind of ridiculous. I bet if it was another white woman asking for this she would’ve taken the return. She told me that my return would go in the back room for 24 hours and then, after that, she would put it back on the floor, which is honestly the most stupid policy and I looked all over the website and it’s not even there so. i bet her name was beth. should have...
