Horrible experience. Store is operating with little to no resources and unable to properly service customers. Came in to trade in an item and assistant store manager Blake made a dozen excuses no to help me. No keyboard or touch screen. Blamed the store for not having these things and very reluctant to help. I asked for when the manager was in to discuss the issue and was told they can’t tell me when for the safety of the manager.
Plot Twist I called another store and they pretty much disproved everything they said including asking for when the manager was available. I have a receipt, bought items before from this location, and even engaged with other customers so there was nothing that could have warranted this type of service.
I’m a black male and not surprised nor angered by interactions like this but I am very disappointed by this. Even if the tools was the issue it’s up to the manager and franchise owner to have proper tools to help...

All I wanted to do was buy a ps5 controller and got the warranty add on shoved down my throat by Blake even though I had said multiple times I do not want it. I have had no luck with the warranty before, I did not have the extra money for it, and I didnt think i needed to explain my financial situation to a GameStop employee but apparently he was so adamant on figuring out why I didn’t want it he kept giving me passive agressive insults until i left. Read moreI stopped in for a charger cord for my Wii U since my cat chewed through mine. I told them my situation and they sent me home with a charging port that you can use with the Wii U Gamepad and 2 Wii remotes. I got home and opened the package to find no cord to plug it into the wall. I called and they explained that you need to use the original charging cord to plug it into the wall. Why in the world would I come in asking for a new charging cord and want something that requires the original one?!? I CLEARLY DON'T HAVE THE CORD and now I can't return it since its a new item.
