I (grandmother and veteran) am very disappointed by the treatment I received at the Rosedale SephorašI was in their Sephora store with grandchildren, and was looking around. A young girl asked if I needed anything twice, within 2 minutes of arriving. I was looking at the perfume and wanted the 3 free samples you can receive. I replied, "no thank you". I mentioned I was $3 short of my $500 spent to redeem my 500 point gift. I was looking at the 250 point perfumes and said the name of one of them and she curtly corrected my pronunciation. She also said, "You can't redeem any points until you buy something". My grandchildren decided to get perfume samples, too, but only wanted one for themselves and the other 2 for me. The young man said in front of everyone in the store, to my grandchildren, "if you are getting the perfume samples for "her" ( meaning me, grandmother), she is only allowed 3 samples". My grandchildren are future Sephora customers and I have spent a thousand dollars in the last 2 years.
Why would he even say anything like that? Why did the young girl correct me and put me in my place twice. Who are these young people disrespecting a grandmother and veteran in front of everyone! I felt shamed and extremely sad, that my grandchildren had to hear and see this!
I spoke to the LOD (also very young) and he started questioning my grandchildren trying to get extra samples. I said how much money were you losing giving them 4 extra samples. I also mentioned that I was very embarrassed when that young man chastised me and my grandchildren, and in front of everyone! I have also spent over $5000 in past 4 years and told the LOD this. He said he would wait (unlike the young man who waited on my grandchildren) until his shift was over to speak to him.
Disappointing and disrespectful behavior of the employees in this store. Won't be...

Call to schedule your appointment and ask for Elaine, you won't be sorry. She is absolutely amazing and made all the difference in the world.
My daughter and I tested the waters for senior pictures (after a cancellation by an independent photographer) and by our lucky stars and the universe aligning just right we were blessed to work with Elaine and Good Lawd she was phenomenal! She knows what she is doing and takes her time despite the 15 minute sessions that are scheduled she moves with a purpose and it does not effect the outcome of the photos. The shots were sooo perfect, I mean every single pose!!! She didn't even need to upsell us, we knew we were going to buy the digital images and plenty of extra prints .....
We went back again a few weeks later after the amazing experience and a great Groupon deal. I requested Elaine, and unfortunately she wasn't working and I didn't get the confirmation call, sooooo we had a different photographer. She was not bad and was decently friendly BUT she was not Elaine and seemed very inexperienced and it showed in the awkward photos. My daughter and I were less than pleased with the second session's results and just stuck with the basic Groupon and found it hard to even pick a single photo we Iiked. . . . . . Disappointment is an understatement.
Luckily we have another independent photographer appointment lined up for an outdoor snow session. I would've much preferred Elaine to take my daughter's photos...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've gone to this location several times, but this last time really put the cherry on top. We came here for Black Friday and per usual the customer service was poor. We had two women ringing us up and one of the women was so rude and the other was dismissive. I gave them my coupon that we got in the mail and before even scanning it the woman told me they're not taking coupons. However, the other woman rang it up and it went through. So, then we went back today to return my husband's jacket because I bought the same one online with the correct size we needed. The woman took my makeup out of the bag, but didn't give us our money back on my husband's card because she was so fixated on his jacket. We bought the jacket on one of two receipts and I explained that to the cashier. She started questioning us and because of that she forgot to return the makeup and compensate us for the return. Then my husband called to let them know what happened and the woman who answered the phone asked him who he was speaking with. We obviously don't know the associates name, so we tried to describe her the best we could. However, she quickly cut my husband of and said you can come in and figure it out. This was obviously not ideal for us with two young kids and it's cold and snowing and we were already in the store once today... I'm very irritated and now I lost out on money and time with no proper explanation. Then to top it off I tried to call them to let them know we would be in tomorrow, but whoevever was answering the phones kept picking up and hanging up on...
