Surprised that it is bigger than it looks from the road. This was the first time I actually shopped here and I enjoyed it. Off Fifth and Nordstrom Rack and two of my favorite stores and I recognized some of the products that I saw online. I will definitely be back and ready to shop.
Many other retailers, including Marshalls, so there are options. I forget the other store names but there seemed to be about 25 of them, with both indoor and direct outside access. It was not crowded, but comfortably busy and lively when I was there.
The one thing is that entry is odd if coming from the south. Must use a jug handle turn to access entrance. Then I did not realize that I had to go around the shopping center to get to the front to park as there is one way traffic from the entrance. No big deal. i uturned in the garage and found my way to the back of the center and entered these stores from there. Now that I know, I will go up one more entrance to enter from the side street so I can park closer and...
Read moreI'm glad they brought this facility/building back to life and they have some good options, my favorites being Wahlburger's (say 'hi' to your motha for me), and Dave and Busters. However, I can't give it a 5 star because of the traffic patterns, which should not be as hard to navigate as most people make them. There's a curve in front of Aldi's that seems to send people into a literal fugue state and they completely forget how to drive. And, on the other side of the building, there's a traffic circle of sorts that also seems to be a foreign concept to a lot of drivers. There's a 'hidden' driveway that will allow you to skip a lot of the clutter, but I'm not going to say where it is for fear of it getting congested, too. Just consider your self lucky if you make it through the parking lot without having to navigate around a car(s) that is doing something that it shouldn't be doing. Then say hi to your...
Read moreAfter this dying mall was renovated and updated in 2014, the vibrancy of this once-revered mall was restored, giving it new life and presence in the North Hills. The shops are typical of what one would find elsewhere in the country near an upscale mall (Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off 5th, Container Store, etc.), but all these stores are unique to the Pittsburgh region, with many being the only one of their type in the metro. The atmosphere is pleasant and modern, and I actually enjoy the aesthetic and clientele here more than it's big brother at Ross Park Mall. The employees I think are what really take this place to the next level: though mostly young Gen Zers, they are all professional, respectful, kind, and knowledgeable; no matter the establishment, I was given the same respect and courtesy. Overall I was very pleased with my visit, and I'll make sure to stop here again...
