What a wonderful place to experience life in our state history! The beautiful home has created snapshots of life from the past in every room, from the entry, to the dining room, pantry, and study. The docent and volunteers are just the friendliest people in the world, and they certainly are representative of the hospitality and strength that lives in the hearts of New Mexicans. The home's stained glass windows are gorgeous, and my favorite rooms are both the dining room..... and the PANTRY (LOL) because the dining room is positively gorgeous, and the pantry contains a display of a plethora of antique spices, condiments, and foods. Read moreSuch a lovely and charming museum to visit! It is like stepping into a time capsule. Amy and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offer guided tours through the home where you are able to take a look at the well-preserved home and catch a glimpse of life in historic Roswell. My favorite is the green couch in the parlor and the stained glass windows. This is definitely a hidden gem in Roswell with a rich and interesting history behind it! We arrived shortly after 1:00 on Friday and it was locked up. Called the number posted on the door, no answer. Waited around until 1:20 and nobody showed up so we left....
