TLDR: Okay store, but bad customer service by not letting me exchange properly, instead charging me more.
I ordered beads online for delivery and when they arrived I realized I ordered the wrong size, but they were the same price as the correct beads I needed. I looked it up and saw they can do exchanges for things ordered online so I thought great, this will be easy! Wrong. The cashier kept saying she couldn’t find my purchase and I’m like “I got it delivered”, and she said “let’s treat this as a no receipt return” … but she kept trying and then eventually was able to find my order (after the tenth or so scan of my order bar code), and instead of an equal exchange she gave me store credit for the amount I purchased them for (I USED A COUPON SO IT WAS LESS THAN THEY COST). When I tried to pause her I said “wait this is only for the sale price though??” She SMIRKED at me and said “yep.” And went ahead and processed the credit anyways. Like??? She knew I wasn’t going to be able to get the correct amount of beads with the credit I got back and that I was trying to stop her and find a better solution, but she ignored and almost laughed at me it seemed. So I had to buy the beads at full price when it should’ve been an easy exchange since they’re both worth the same, but nooo I had to pay the remainder of about $17. I used up a voucher to reduce that slightly, but I am so pissed. I came back the next day and the manager confirmed that other cashier should have given me back the full price so I could purchase the other beads at full price, basically canceling it all out and getting an exchange. But still this manager didn’t offer me a solution and just said “maybe if you return them again” NO??? I can’t because I bought them with credit and a voucher in addition to my CC, plus I already opened them and organized them away. Ridiculous. If I was going to buy these at full price I would not have waited a week for them to deliver in the first place. That manager also talked to me like I was dumb and don’t know how computers work. She kept dismissing me and saying it’s a “inventory issue” and repeating herself like I couldn’t understand. Sorry but your website says you can do exchanges for online ordered items, plain and simple no excuses…. I am a young adult that works customer service and have plenty of understanding of how easy it is to not screw over people… I always try to give them the best deal and money’s worth. I am stunned still how that first person smirked and almost chuckled at my frustration. Wish there was a different Michael’s store closer to me instead of this one so I didn’t have to drive all the way out her just to get my day ruined, would have at least...

Read moreI usually go to the 183 store but decided to visit the round rock store because they had more spray paint can in stock. Unlike 183 they have the spray cans locked in a cage so you have to request assistance to purchase them. The manager that came to open the cage was rude, irritated, and distracted while assisting me. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and needed a few minutes to browse the colors to get what I wanted and she would not allow me to touch anything saying she has to handle the product just tell her what i want. I’m over 40 and she treated me like I was there to cause trouble or something. Was planning to spent $100+ on cans and couldn’t even get what I wanted because her attitude was so bad. Grabbed what I could until I just couldn’t be around her anymore. She took everything to the counter and the cashier did not ask if I was a rewards member or allow me to use the coupon I had. She was solely focused on getting my ID. Both were rude and I considered just telling them to put everything back. I should have just ordered from Amazon as usual but I wanted to go into a store and have the chance to see what I’m buying even though it costs 4 more per can. I’d like to support other businesses besides Amazon but should’ve known better. My experiences visiting other locations have been a totally different much...
