Round Rock Crossing — Attraction in Round Rock

Most of the shops in this center are hidden from the highway. The trees are grown up and some restaurants / shops line the perimeter so the stores behind are not easily seen. It is evident this area is struggling because of the many vacant shops. Only the well franchised like Target, Michael's,. Best Buy, Sports Clips, etc are safe from this problem. There are other small shops along the walkway so hopefully this area can hang on. We visited Target...This store is very clean and well laid out. There are plenty of check outs and now there is even self check. The smell of popcorn always overwhelms me when we walk in. We also always check the clearance end caps to find some great deals. Get your Target app out and scan everything you put in the cart because there could be some coupons or cartwheel deals you can take advantage of. The workers are always friendly and asking if you need help. Right now there is some summer clearance of 50% off fans so if you are in need of one this is a good time to snag one. Best Buy as a whole has went downhill. I used to love showing up every week to pick up the latest movie releases & games, but over the last couple of years, it seems like they don't care anymore. I shoe up on release day & none of the new releases are out on the floor.

I recently went in a week after a movie release I wanted was out & they didn't even have that out yet even though they did have it in stock. I constantly have to ask someone to bring me copies from the back (when I can find someone to help me). Even when I'm buying electronics, I have to ask someone to bring me one from the back (the app shows that it is in stock at the location I'm at, but it is nowhere to be found.... Why, because it is in the back!!

This has become what I expect & experience at most of the locations I frequent. Some locations don't even sell movies anymore & a couple of locations have closed down.

This & the fact that they only cater to Best Buy credit card holders whennit comes to points & I have slowed down shopping...

This place is really great! My sister and I have been going to a new froyo place every weekend for a few months trying to find a good place to visit regularly, and I think we found it. Not only does it have a really good atmosphere that invites you to stay and hang while you eat, the choices are numerous in both flavors, types, and toppings.
