This was the worst experience I have ever had getting a manicure. The tech talked to another tech in "their language" the entire time. The technique was also not the typical of a gel manicure. From my experience, gel manicures should never be removed by filing. Even though I said this was not what I was use to, the tech continued to use a file to remove the gel. Most nail salons soak the gels off with acetone, then gently remove the gel with by gently scraping with a small file. None of which was done at Paradise Nail. Now the filing, shaping. At first she didn't even shape the nails evenly. I had to tell her they were uneven. Then the polish. She missed spots, and I pointed it out to her. Oh they give you a "massage". I don't know where they were trained, but it was the most painful "massage" ever. Talk about being rough! The price was $30, I guess you get what you pay for. P.S. The only reason I went to this place is because my regular place is...
Read moreI’ve came here for a long time and the pedicures are AMAZING!!! Love love love the pedicures. I usually go to a different salon in the area for my acrylic nails but I just got my first acrylic manicure at this salon because the salon I usually go to was fully booked today. The lady who did my nails today was very nice but I must say that I am a little unhappy with the outcome today. She cut almost all of my cuticles and left them bleeding. She then put alcohol on them and it burned soooo bad. I had also nicely asked if she was able to do coffin shape nails at the beginning of my appointment and she did not do so. As she was shaping them she said that she wouldn’t be able to do coffin which would’ve been nice to know at the beginning. Anyway I’m more upset about my burning cuticles and I will continue to come here for their amazing pedicures because the pedicures are truly one of the best around and I will stick to my other salon for my...
Read moreParadise Nails??? More like FUNGUS paradise. Got my toes done 3 weeks ago and now I have a fungus on my big toe right where she cleaned under and around my nail. I got a clear coat so I’m able to see. I am a nail tech myself and took in the environment around me and saw how unsanitary everything was. First off my pedicure chair was broken the massage worked but wouldn’t hit my back at all it was the chair farthest from the window. They double dip with all their products and don’t sanitize the foot stand and just rinse it off in my pedicure water. I saw the manager finish up a clients polish and as she was cleaning I saw her take the detachable whirlpool jet to the back and rinse it off for 2 seconds with water. Those are supposed to be taken apart and sanitized every time because after every client those jets get filled with sock lint. Very very dirty salon I’m never coming back. This manager needs...
