Where do I begin? Well this story begins with a nervous red head who walked into the Roxbury library to get a new passport and met a extraordinary employee named Donna. Donna was super helpful and kind from the moment I stepped into a very unfamiliar situation. I told her I have dyslexia and struggle with important documents. Donna responded by saying “I’ll check over your paperwork make sure we get everything correct (with a smile).” Donna took the pressure off me and made me feel more at ease. Read moreThis library has been my SAVIOR during the Covid 19 crisis. When everything was shut down, I used their online Digital Services to save my sanity. I listened to audiobooks and read e-books through Hoopla and Cloud Library. My children participated in Ms Lynn's daily story time through FB live and it helped them stay connected and maintain a sense of normalcy. With the library now open for curbside pickup, I just stopped today by to pick up my book club's next book and activity packs for my kids. The librarians are doing everything they can to make the library accessible even in these weird times. My family loves this...
Read moreAwesome library! Looks small from outside but thta very much untrue. My son is 3yo and the children's room is amazing! Great toys, computers, and books obviously but then add the events they do and this place is a parent's dream. Storytime for all ages, playdoh club every other week and hold many events! Last month was a kids art festival which was phenomenal! Parking in front and back plus for the events we were able to park at the church next door and walked over. And for a toddler just add the trillions of stones by the back d0or and gravel in the front to make this place one of my sons...
