Anthony Francos Pizza Roxbury — Restaurant in Roxbury Township

When we moved into the area, we tried at least 5 pizzerias and was disappointed with our options until we found Anthony Franco’s. The pizza and wings are delicious, the delivery service is reliable, and the on-site staff is friendly. We like to entertain with parties at our home so finding decent (and reasonably priced) catering was important to us. After calling several area restaurants and viewing their respective catering menu, we decided to use Anthony Franco because it offers the best pricing for half and full trays. Our favorite food to cater include penne vodka, meatballs, and chicken Marsala. Jose is our go-to guy who I reach out to to place my orders. He’s very professional, honest, and goes above and beyond to make sure my orders are accurate and that I’m satisfied with the food and service. A lot of problems. First, they didn’t have any pepperoni pizza slices. I can understand specialties running out, but pepperoni, how? Next up, trying to pay for the food is like pulling teeth. The dude behind the counter stares at me holding my cash in my hand for 5 seconds, and then turns his back and leans against the counter for about a minute. It was the most awkward and bizarre thing I’ve ever seen. Then he turns around again and looks me in the eye for another few seconds without saying anything. I finally asked to pay and he was so confused about what was going on. Finally, this place is extremely over priced. I saw a response saying it’s based on other places in the area, but I’ve been to the other places and they aren’t this much. $3.25 for a slice of cooked plain pizza with cold pepperoni sprinkled on top is terrible. I started writing this big, long and detailed review/ description of this place, and about 3 paragraphs in, I decided 1) no one has the time to read a story like that but 2) and really more importantly, this restaurant, this specific location in particular, is LEGIT.

From the 1st time I tried it, to each and every time since, quality, delicious food made with top shelf ingredients. I'll sum it up by saying this, and you other foodies out there will know right away what I mean.
