Run from this place! Spent 1200 with them and was charged extra to supposedly bypass factory amp. Used radio once and smoke poured from dash . Found factory amp still in place. Ordered a used factory amp thinking that they made it work somehow with it. Radio never worked again. Days later I get a call saying no warranty because amp was plugged in. Joe who answered phone was rude and treated me like I was an idiot. I own a shop and have worked on cars for 30 years. Tried to save time and figured"they do this all the time. It will be quicker to just let them do it." Should of done it myself. These hacks I wouldn't have put a trash bag in a garbage can I'm sure they would screw it up. Do not let these jokers touch your ride. Unprofessional and horrible customer service. I will never use Mickey shorr again and will make sure to tell every customer and friend of mine how bad they are. Truly the worst!
Update.... Called me back and spoke with them on the following Monday and they said they were going to take care of it. A week later they still have my truck and they answer the phone and pick up and put you on hold before they even talk to you or you can say a word. after being left on hold for 20 minutes now no one answers the phone at all! I have never experienced such horrible customer service. Now I have to drive there in the morning to get my vehicle back and take it to someone that will actually treat customers with respect and not like a pile of garbage. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here for a head unit upgrade. I had an aftermarket unit already, but wanted something newer. The sales person worked me out a decent deal and said the install would be easy as they could reuse all the wiring for my amps and steering wheel controls, all of which I specifically stated the importance of retaining. Sure enough a couple hours later I had my car and everything worked well. Awesome! 5 Stars!
But wait...
I got half way home and realized the steering wheel controls, which I had an aftermarket adapter for, weren't functioning. I took it back and it was at this point they informed me my adapter was not compatible with the new deck. I'm a pretty understanding guy. There's no way they could've known this when I dropped it off, but simply not telling me or asking if I wanted a new one was frustrating and super uncool.
They apologized and worked me out a great deal on a new adapter. Another hour later it was in and working. I ended up spending a little more than I wanted and the lack of communication on what's a pretty important thing to communicate, when I specifically had identified the importance of it was frustrating.
Overall it was an okay experience. The shop is not very nice and their selection is limited, the prices were fair, staff is knowledgeable, and the work looks good so far. I probably won't be back, but I do appreciate them working with me to...

I'm extremely happy with what I got.
Also all the questions I had were answered. The questions I forgot to ask were answered too. I appreciate the staff going over several different options to choose from, explaining in detail which item did what. To help me figure out what would work best for me.
