I ordered through Uber Eats. They tried to double charge me. I placed an order and forgot to add the sauce. There was no prompt to edit. I cancelled within 2 minutes and reordered with sweet and sour soup instead since I couldnt add the sauce. I was charged $42.95 for the food plus an additional $23.07. Uber Eats tried to tell me I was charged $23.07 since the food was already prepared. I replied it was done in 2 minutes and I ordered the same thing and added soup. I told them i would get my bank involved and I was refunded the $23.07.

The Sweet and Sour chicken had a wonderful flavor. However there were very small bite sized pieces of chicken. The vegetable cuts were extemely large and plentiful in the meat entree. The tray the meal was served in was small and slender. Half the size of a regular tray the food is normally served in at other restaurants.

They included white rice with the order.

I also ordered the veggie fried rice and had chicken added. There was a good amount of chicken added. The rice was bland there was no spice added or sauce

Took my husband and son out to eat here for the first time a few days ago. let me tell you I never write negative reviews. That being said a negative review how to be written about this place. It is the worst thai food I have ever had. I have had thai food in Thailand, in the NW, and all over Oakland county here in MI. It is by far the farthest thing from thai food you can get. On top of that the service was poor. Server took our order, dropped our food off, and never came back. We waited for her for 20+ minutes but she was elusive. Had she come back I would've explained that I didn't like my meal and perhaps would've tried something else. My husband tracked her down, paid the whole bill, and left her a tip. I very nicely explained before leaving to her that I didnt like my meal and that she shouldve checked back on us to which she batted her eyes and said she was sorry. Since my original go to spot was temporarily closed (during the Pandemic). I decided to give SHINthai a try. The online reviews is what helped me make my decision. BIG MISTAKE. The food did not appear to be freshly prepared. I ordered the Pad Tai noodles & they were dark in color, hard & stuck together.. It appeared as if they pre packed the dish days prior to me purchasing the meal. When I removed the noodles from the carry out dish 2 re heat them The noodles stayed in the form of the square carry out container which was a clear indication to me that this was an extremely old dish. This is so disappointing I purchased 2 meals for $25 ( that's not cheap) how can restaurant owners do this? Now is a time for your business to shine with the possibility of gaining new customers & you &/your staff use it as an opportunity to get rid of OLD FOOD.
