Yogurt City — Attraction in Royal Oak

Conveniently located on main street in downtown Royal Oak, yogurt city offers easy to make delicious frozen yogurt with many toppings to all.

They have up to 12 flavors, with the ability to immediately mix pairs of them immediately from each machine. They don't have too many outrageous flavors, which is good and bad. They have the standbys like chocolate, cake batter, vanilla, etc, while also carrying one or two unique flavors that will make you say, "uh what exotic fruit is that?!"

Then they have a wide variety of mix-ins, from fresh fruit, boba, and even mochi, to the classics such as reese's pieces, brownie bites, and sour patch kids. You could go so many times and never have the same thing!

Their staff is very friendly as well. I went in having recently been given a pen that exploded on my hands, and a staff member noticed and without saying anything gave me a wet napkin to dab the ink off with.

Finally, yogurt city's location means it is easily accessible, and they have great seats to people watch to your content. And their prices are very reasonable.

A wonderful place to get yogurt with its many flavor and toppings. You can even try up to two samples. The employees are helpful, courteous and cheerful. The place is clean and you are made to feel welcome. Would recommend this place highly. Someone else who does not have a computer wanted to say the following. "The people in Yogurt City on Main Street in Royal Oak are so kind. I just stopped in to see how it was, as I like yogurt. After I took my portion, to my great embarrassment, I came up short of money. I had been shopping. (What do I do next?) The middle-aged woman at the counter took the money out of her own pocket and told me not to worry about it. We don't have many people like that nowadays. I hope to repay the kindness to someone else. Such a lovely and compassionate lady. We definitely will be coming...

I know this seems silly, but as far as soft serve is concerned, Yogurt City has the best tasting vanilla frozen yogurt I've ever had. I tried Sweet Earth down the street to compare once, and there was no comparison.

Yogurt City is a small business owned by a nice Chinese family who appear to work very hard to maintain a high quality, regularly fresh variety of frozen yogurt flavors. They also seem to welcome feedback.

I haven't been to their two other locations, but this one's interior is particularly cool/cute... kinda reminds of bright kids' cartoons. They also have this weird backlit bench seating.

Anyway. I really like this place. Everyone's nice, and seriously... try their vanilla yogurt....
