My favorite place in all of Sacramento. Great place for tourists to visit. Features tons of shops and restaurants. Many of the shops are unique and old western style. The different shops include Jewelery, Disney, toys, Mayan indian and tribal, old school candy, taffy, clothing an apparel, costumes, anime and goth, tattoo parlors, fine dining, and much more. On weekends they have an open mic night for musicians, poets, comedy, and performance artists. They have a merry go round and ferris wheel for the kids. They offer ferry boat tours. Home to Joe's Crab Shack. Also home to laughs unlimited comedy club. And important for smokers! If youre looking to buy cigarettes, there is ONE cigarette store in the corner building next to the comedy club across from the Ferris Wheel. (I know because I ran out of smokes and searched every shop until I found it). This place is lgbtq, and family friendly. Recommend going on Saturdays, or weekends when they often have special events going on, and more...
