Edited after initial review. Overall mixed but mostly good experience.

Initial post: I went into Sharif's a few months ago to replace my lost wedding ring. While I was there, I also sold some old pieces I had. Remaking the ring was a painless process, although I'm still waiting for insurance details to wrap up, and it's hard to say if that's becuase of the insurance company. Separately, selling my old pieces to Wali G was actually such a pleasant experience. He was very professional and so pleasant to speak to. I didn't feel like I was being manipulated into a lower price, it felt like they were welcoming me as a forever-customer.

Update: Manny was hard to get a hold of for insurance stuff. He initially said he'd be the one to talk to insurance, but I don't think that was the case. When we'd call, somebody would say he'd eventually call back. Then I went in to get the price justification in print (that insurance asked for), his priority seemed to be selling me something else I expressed interest in before solving the insurance problem. After a new sale clearly wasn't going to happen, it took over an hour to get the paperwork I needed. It had been so long since the initial sale, he forgot what I needed and handed me the wrong paperwork. I had to wait for the right paperwork.
