Great cause and great volunteers. We have always visited on Wednesdays for Wacky Wednesday and in the past have found a good inventory of clothing. Unfortunately not today despite being the first customers in the store. In speaking to other customers while waiting, we learned that resellers have been frequenting the store and wiping out sections of clothing to resell. During our last visit in November, we spoke to a young man who had at least 60-70 items of clothing in his basket and he was very honest about buying the items for a $1 and then selling them for over $10 online. This prompted me to share my concerns with the manager and I suggested consideration be given to limiting the number of clothes that one can purchase in a single transaction on Wacky Wednesday. Perhaps donations are down resulting in the empty racks but if this trend continues, we will be hesitant to return which is unfortunate since we buy more than clothes to support the mission of helping victims of...
Read moreHow sad is it that a thrift store collecting money for charity is overpricing items for the hardworking public. Not a good look.. My mother bought a ring here for $300 under â24k rlâ ⌠well when she got home she showed me the ring and it said on the other side of the dirty band (China CZ) which is cubic zirconia. This store charged $300 for a cubic zirconia ring! This store was unwilling to come to an agreement of any kind. No one takes receipts these days, they couldâve easily looked at the cameras and my mother could have brought in her bank statement and they couldâve seen the ring was purchased the same time on her bank statement as it was on the cameras. She couldâve even gotten a store credit instead of a refund. I feel she was totally ripped off. That price for an item would give anyone the impression that it wasnât costume jewelry. Well it was⌠Be very cautious when buying from this place. They werenât willing to look into âŚnor do they care that they are scamming an...
Read moreIf you pay for furniture or large bulky items, take them home the day of purchase or this company will steal your paid for property and illegally re-sell it. When you return with your receipt & ticket for such items Management will claim the customer can't prove their item was stolen & resold despite the reciepts in hand. Tell them to pull their cameras, they will refuse. I should have called the police on them. They even refused a full refund. This business stole my property and my hard-earned money and furthermore insulted me by refusing to give back my money even though I had my receipts in hand.
I met someone who they screwed over worse and far more money involved. They stole her living room suite and she paid a driver who had RECIEPTS & Tickets shown PAID.
They make a habit of doing this and claim it in the name of their cause. Stealing from your customers is wrong, immoral,...
