Love this place... it is one of my "go to's" whenever I'm in St. Augustine. It's located in the courtyard area of the Lightner museum (great place for photographs on a sunny day, btw... haha). Back to my review of C & L ... they maintain a really beautiful and unique selection of items... all quality. What's unique about this place, IMO, is the staff. They are quite knowledgeable about antiques, historical periods for when (and how) items would have been produced, as well as, the background of artists and craftmanship. Several times they've offered to research items I've asked about, then taken time to track down unique items, for me. They have demonstrated very good communication whether by phone, texting, or email ... and even without my asking, have been very reasonable with me on pricing. I think what stands out is that they are interested in forming a long-term relationship/satisfaction with their customers... not just pushing sales for a "one-time" purchase, which is really refreshing.
