The Ancient Olive of St. Augustine — Local services in Saint Augustine

Worker there was extremely rude to my friends and I. We were visiting from out of town and thought a unique shop like this would be such a cute spot to stop by... Having a break from heat while also enjoying some nice, quality olive oil displays and variety seemed like a win-win for everyone, especially since I myself have a special interest in cooking. Such a shame that one of the workers put an abrupt stop to that notion. We accidentally bumped into a table of self-serve chips and salsa, and apologized promptly when a utensil and chip from the table happened to fall onto the floor. Worker was extremely passive aggressive, stating "Are you going to pick that up or..?" and continued to explain to only one of us (an apparent bias there, if you catch my drift) how she had been touching product bottles she was not supposed to, when there were no clear signs indicating so... A shame such a cute concept and product is ruined by a stinky attitude and...

Our last night at St Augustine we ran into this place. We had no intention of buying olive oil let alone spending $42.00 on White truffle olive oil (200ml). But we did! They have an exhaustive selection of olive oil and they are all really tasty. Simply quite decadent. Your taste buds will erupt with the savory flavors they have. I never thought olive oil could taste so darn good.

They also have an incredible selection of balsamic vinegar's equally as intriguing flavors that will send your taste buds to heaven. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and can help you out if you are having difficulty or just want a history and education on olive oil.

You will be hard pressed to find a place like this with such a selection and the ability to try them all! If you are an olive oil or balsamic vinegar connoisseur this place is a must for you to stop by and try some heaven...

Located 35 minutes south of where we live in Jacksonville, Florida, Ancient Olive is that one store we ALWAYS have to visit when we go down to St. Augustine!
