REUBEL FINE JEWELRY AT THE CASA MONICA — Local services in Saint Augustine

My wife and I were visiting St. Augustine right before Christmas to check out the lights in the city and decided to drop by this store. We were greeted by the manager, who welcomed us to look around. My wife spotted a ring she liked and once we pointed it out to the manager, he started telling us that it is one of the most popular pieces in the store and that it is a unique 100+ year old estate vintage ring. After some research on their website, we saw the same ring in different set-up at their other store near by: "Diamonds on the Plaza". We went back in the next day and questioned the authenticity of this "estate vintage" ring and were told that it was a cast and "probably" placed in the estate display by mistake. Really? The manager himself was so convincing the day before and seemed like he knew exactly what he was talking about. Then two of the female employees started telling us how good of a buy it is and that it is inexpensive, etc, etc, etc. Be cautious going to this store. Low integrity staff - we were lied straight to our faces. No apology, just more lies. I suppose they bank on the tourist flow and one time buyers. Check out their ridiculous return policy too. What a joke.

Reubel Fine Jewelry was a pleasant surprise in St. Augustine. On a whim we stopped in to look at their jewelry to find something more than just a typical jewelry shop. There were so many unique pieces to choose from and many that you can only find there in their store. You can tell this company takes care of their employees by how excited the salespeople are in what they are selling. Our salesman really took the time with us to find just what my wife was looking for. She sometimes likes to find pieces that have complementary items like earrings to go along with the necklace. They had just what we were looking for and at reasonable prices too. At the end of our experience I noticed a relic coin necklace for myself. I thought this has to be something way overpriced for how unique and valuable it looked but again with surprise it wasn’t. We noticed the beautiful & unique jewelry in the window at Reubel Fine Jewelry Store just after closing time, but Victor saw us & was so gracious to open back up & invite us in. He was absolutely wonderful & knowledgeable we could not have asked for better service & attention. Wow this store has a fabulous selection, I wanted one of everything…I bought the most amazing, gorgeous ring I’ve ever seen at a fantastic price!!! Most of the jewelry including my ring are designed & made in-house by the family/owners so it’s one of a kind -even better!
