I've seen a couple shows and participated in a workshop at this theater. It's been nicely remodeled and kept. Perhaps the most interesting feature is the connected gallery, where you may look around during intermission or on its own during business hours. Several companies utelize the performance space, and it is also available for rental. The Stage Door Theater company seems to be the primary company in residence here, which while overall very good has a few dubious features.
While residing in Utah, I considered seriously renting out this space for my own productions, and while I cannot say anything for their business practices (as I did not do business with them), I can definitely speak for the beauty of the space. Personally, I would not opt for microphone usage in the small space, but they definitely do support a broad range of sound options including multiple mics.

Read moreIn town visiting my elderly mother, who asked I take her to see the matinee showing of Chicago. Was absolutely blown away by the quality of talent from this show! Have been traveling to St. George for years. We always attend shows at the Tuacahn, but this troupe was just as comparable talent-wise. What an absolute pleasure. The artists are mostly home grown talents, and the theater is an absolute gem. Do not sit upstairs though, the floor seating is best! The ONLY drawback is the city has zoned ZERO handicapped parking spots out front. We parked across the street and my mother almost took a header as the curbside is extremely sloped. Beware! The staff was very apologetic and compassionate, God bless all of you and bravo! Can't wait to come back...

This was my first time there, and I had the joy of coming upon a professional painter and her art pupil at work in the front parlor. Then I enjoyed walking around the gallery exhibits, feeling all the different emotions and styles of each work of art, including pottery, photography, impressionistic painting, and abstract metal work. I loved it all. Much of it is for sale. Downstairs there is a dance studio, which is why I had come, but to get to pass through so much beauty and creativity on my way to a dance rehearsal was an...
