I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Megaplex movie theater, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I was in for a treat.
First and foremost, the seating at Megaplex Theater is incredibly comfortable. The plush seats provided the perfect level of support and cushioning, allowing me to fully relax and enjoy the movie without any discomfort. The ample legroom was an added bonus, ensuring that even the tallest moviegoer could stretch out and get comfortable.
The audio and visual experience at Megaplex Theater is truly top-notch. The sound system was crystal clear, immersing me in the movie's audio effects and dialogue. The high-definition screens were vibrant and sharp, bringing the movie to life in a way that made me feel like I was a part of the action. It's evident that Megaplex Theater invests in the latest technology to deliver an exceptional cinematic experience.

Read moreComfortable seats and climate control. Good sound system. D-Box is an overpriced novelty that's best enjoyed with a 3D action-packed film, preferably with a lot of first-person views from a moving vehicle, aircraft, or watercraft. Short-legged people with feet that don't reach the floor will enjoy D-Box the most.
Popcorn tends to be overcooked or stale, but still edible with enough "butter". Some of their concessions staff are way too slow in filling your order. It took one particular clerk 5 minutes to fill a popcorn bucket and 2 sodas, and another 6 minutes to get a cooked hot dog from the grill and put it on a bun (seriously, I was able to walk down the hall, use the restroom, walk back to the food counter, put a straw in my soda, take a couple sips, and the hot dog still hadn't arrived); and I was one of a total of 3 customers in line, with 5 employees working the counter.
Their ticket sales kiosk gets jammed often; I received a previous customer's credit card receipt, and only 1 of my 2 tickets printed. When I informed an employee, he said "Yeah, that happens a lot. Do you remember what seats you selected? Ok, then just take your 1 ticket to the ticket-checker and tell him the number of your other seat and you'll be fine." He didn't even bother to check the machine. Really? I guess I'll just buy one ticket for an undersold show and tell the ticket-checker I also bought the next seat over, and get 2-for-1 admission from now on. Of course, half the time there's not even a person checking tickets, so I could probably just get free admission anyway. Arcades do a better job of verifying tickets, and all you're getting in exchange is a cheap plastic Slinky and Tootsie Rolls.
The staff members at this theater need better training—or the theater needs better staff—and the revenue collectors (aka ticket kiosks) need better maintenance. If you're going to replace humans with machines, at least make sure they do a better job than the humans they replace; otherwise we'll be living in a world full of stupid people AND stupid machines. If that happens, may the gods...
Read moreCedar location is not showing eddington. Okay, we drive to St. George on Thursday the 24th to catch their 2:50 pm show time. They charge a fee if you buy tickets online ahead, so we figure we would save ourselves from paying that. Checked show times the day before and day of. We drive down from cedar and they changed the 2:50 show time to 7:40. They also removed their phone number from the cedar website, so I couldn’t call in to see if they were ever going to get Eddington. I actually think that every phone number they have is just is a robot that directs you to the website, regardless of which theatre. We were unable to stay in St. George for an extra 5 hours, so needless to say we were extremely disappointed. None of the floor workers could tell me why the time had changed or why there is no longer a phone number. If you as a facility are trying to move away from phone calls, your website or app needs to have ALL information updated and reasons why the showtime changed. Ridiculous that I’ll have to drive to the theatre, walk in, and ask someone who might not even have an answer for me, rather than just calling. Wasted my day off, really wanted to see the movie, been a Megaplex customer my whole life and this is terrible to do to your long time...
