EDIT TO ADD: The “reactions” from the business regarding my review not only validate what I have stated but also highlight their lack of professionalism and poor management.

I had a truly disappointing experience with this service. I was initially thrilled about getting my eyebrows done, something I had wanted for a long time. After seeing an ad on Facebook, I decided to book an appointment. However, upon arrival, the technician, Brodi, was incredibly rude and dismissive throughout the entire session. Whenever I asked questions, her responses made me feel as though I was wrong for even asking.

Despite this, I tipped her over $50 because I had a touch-up service scheduled with her and always tip at least the minimum for services. Later, I received voicemails from the academy and a Facebook message from Brodi asking if I could come in earlier for my touch-up, which had been scheduled for August 10th. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the earlier time. I called back the next day and left a voicemail, and finally reached someone the following morning. I told the person I couldn’t make it at the earlier time and they rescheduled my appointment with me to September 18th, expecting to receive a confirmation text as I had for my initial appointment, but I never did. I left a voicemail on the 21st of September another in October and one more in November, and didn't get a response until December 6th.

When I finally spoke to someone, they re-re scheduled me for December 12th. I was under the impression that the touch-up would cost $50, as initially explained, but I received a voicemail stating it would be $175 because it was past a 10-week mark. I was shocked, especially since they had asked me to reschedule and failed to communicate properly. I requested to speak with a manager and was told one would contact me. Instead, I received a text saying Brodi no longer wanted to work with me and that the appointment would be $175 if I kept it. I asked for the manager to call me, and the response was vague and non-committal.

Additionally, they continued to contact my old phone number despite updating it multiple times. My eyebrows after the first appointment and still to this day, are non-existent, forcing me to use pomade daily, just as I had before the “service”. I dye my hair black, so my roots are lighter, which led to a shocking moment when Brodi almost tattooed my brows blonde. Thankfully, a teacher intervened. Brodi's attitude felt like a jab at my need for a hair touch-up. When I inquired about adding slits to my brows, Brodi laughed and rudely dismissed the idea.

Overall, I feel disappointed, hurt, and that I completely wasted my money on...

This was a decision with a random place at first, because I was so new to microblading. I’ve always wanted to do it, but didn’t have the real motivation to do it.

I saw a social media post from a mutual friend and she recommended Ashley Vang. I was skeptical at first because I’ve heard so many people trying to do the services for discounted pricing through people they knew, such as my mom. I don’t trust that fully, so I wanted to be sure it was a licensed place with professionals with the correct training. I looked on her page and the website. Then, I contacted her and she was super helpful and professional. She went through all of the options and asked me questions regarding what I was looking for and what I wanted to do. She did my original micro blading and my touch up. She did amazing and listened to what I said and worked with me to achieve the same goal. Ashley does an amazing job at detail and making it an enjoyable experience, even if the procedure hurts a little bit lol.

They have lots of different services depending on what you’re looking for and the staff there are very nice and professional. From the people running the front, to the instructors in the back teaching their students. I really like that this is both a Salon and a classroom.
