Market Basket — Attraction in Salem

Management there is horrid. I frequent the market basket in twelve different city as I'm a floating regional manager for a large corporation, every single one including this location has great food, however when an error is made, regardless of the time frame in which its acknowledge by me(the customer) every single one happily rectified the mistake immediately except this location. When I attempted to speak with the restaurant manager, their employees stated, in a rather snide manner, "YOURE GONNA HAVE TO WAIT" to which I reply, "okay, why, what's up?", she states in response "THE MANAGER STEPPED OUT" to which I reply, "okay, when will she be back?" She responded with "IDK SHE STEEEEPED OOOUT." Frustrated by her attitude I respond sarcastically, "so she's smoking a cigarette?", to which she respond "yep" and walked away. So I wait, and wait, and wait. Till finally I walk away and seek a red shirt. A manager from a separate department. I informed him as to what mistakes were made on my sub the day prior that being that it wasn't made even remotely correct and I threw it away. I asked to be compensated for that today and the red shirt stated he couldn't do anything because it happened yesterday. At which point I'm dumbfounded because as I said, I'm in upper management at an equally large company and would have, without hesitation, simply offered to comp today's purchase for yesterday's mistake. I offered to show the receipt which I still have, he cared not. I couldn't tolerate the Unprofessionalism any...

First and foremost, the size of the store is impressive. The aisles are wide and spacious, which makes shopping a comfortable experience. Additionally, the store is well-organized, with clearly labeled sections for produce, meats, bakery items, and more. This makes it easy to find what you're looking for, even if you're a first-time shopper.

Set up of the store is the same as Seabrook, NH. Only difference is the cigarettes 🚬 are sold near the shopping 🛒 carriage isle. One entrance with twelve items or less registers and shopping carriages right in front of and next to the entrance/exit. Parking lot busy but set up better than Seabrook or Nashua. Tight space inside. Good selection of products. Produce department looks good. Cafe, pizza and sandwiches and hot food served. Dining area available. Store seems interested in local history. I haven't seen that at other Market Baskets. I recommend a visit. Good prices. Only issue with parking lot is my fellow customers not returning carriages to the corralls and leaving them in parking spots. Also, use your turn signals!! Fender benders and hitting pedestrians can happen if you do a surprise turn! Update: February, 2020; Tried the vanilla and chocolate soft serve ice cream. Very good. Almost saw a mom and her two kids get hit by a car backing up. Check your blind spots! I yelled "Watch out!" and the car stopped short of hitting them.
