I wouldn't recommend supporting this company. Time and time again they violate ADA laws and no matter how many times I tell them it's illegal to have their sign in the crosshatch area in Disabled parking spots, they continue to put it there. Making the world less accessible for people like me because they can get away with it. Shameful. I'd assume if you're a company with any moral values you'd want to make your space safe and accessible for everyone including disabled people. Instead this company actively chooses to create more barriers for us to exclude us. If I see this discrimination again, I will be filing a report with ADA compliance. UPDATE RESPONSE: It doesn't matter if anyone even complained to you at all! You should know accessibility laws and actually care REGARDLESS of laws and regulations. NOTHING should be in the crosshatch, even if you think it's enough room. That is illegal regardless if you "think" it's enough space. It's not your convenient lil area for displays, it's for human beings that already face countless barriers everyday, everywhere they go. This business has been doing this for an extremely long time and used lax enforcement of ADA to their advantage. You shouldn't have to have a disabled person "complain" about their rights being withheld to know better. Also I have mentioned to staff about this several months ago, but clearly they didn't think it important enough to report to a superior. Expected as much. (Note: I don't celebrate the genocide of natives and I find it extremely odd to want to have a "happy...
Read moreMy family and I were in town for a tournament and decided to stop by this cute little store for some souvenirs. There was a variety of souvenirs, from clothing to mugs to stickers. My favorite part is that this place doesn’t take itself too seriously with its “SL,UT” souvenirs, and it is now an ongoing joke between my family and I (we are from Texas so naturally, this is hilarious to us although I’m not sure anybody else shared the feeling.) Additionally, since my family is not from Utah, we don’t remember many names of businesses, and the store attendant was more than willing to help us figure out a place to go eat. My family visited this store three years ago and decided to come back for round 2 this year. Naturally, since it is a souvenir shop the prices are on the higher side for some of the products, but there were lots of affordable options and even some on sale. We will be returning should we find ourselves here...
Read moreMy wife and I were in SLC for a brief trip and we wanted to get some souvenirs and we saw this shop while driving around. We’re not typically big fans of souvenir shops as they tend to have really tacky merchandise, but this place was anything but tacky. Yes, they had your typical merchandise (shirts, hoodies, keychains, etc.) but both the quality and designs of the merchandise was great.
They also had some awesome flavor options for honey sticks and we each had a caramel candy which was one of the best caramel candies I’ve ever had (they are soft candies, not hard).
Best of all was the service. Connor (I hope I spelled that right) was friendly, personable, professional, and helpful. I could have chatted it up with him for a while, but we needed to get going on with our plans for the day. Good guy, though. We really enjoyed our time at the shop and we’d recommend getting your SLC merch...
