This was my first time in to this shop, and there is a lot I want to say. The love and dedication put into the preparation and service here is phenomenal. Each sandwich is lovingly crated with skill and patience so everything comes out perfect. I’m not a big fan of tomatoes, but getting the Chopped Cheese sandwich this time in…. I didn’t even notice it blended so well with the spices of the beef the mayo the bread it just accentuated all those flavors together. not too spicy, just enough of a kick on the back end so your mouth stays warm for minutes after.
This shop puts excellence and care first above anything else everything is crafted. Well the staff is friendly and that’s not just because I’m the cousin of the owner. We laughed because he didn’t even recognize me at first. Yet still treated with respect definitely friendly to the LGBTQIA+ community. This is a wonderful place to eat and if you want to stop in for a quick bite of something absolutely delicious? Come in here!
This is fantastic. One of the best eats. I’ve had in a while and definitely is now going to be added on my stops. Anytime I come in the Salt Lake. Congrats Cousin! this is amazing. I wish you all the best and success...
Read moreWe were there for a company event, and I was excited to see Kimchi on the menu (I am Korean). I decided to give it a try. I took a bite and could not continue. My husband thought the same. The Kimchi was overly fermented and was too strong. I totally expected it to be grilled kinchi, but it was cold and clashed with American cheese. In Korean cuisine, when Kimchi is eaten as a part of warm, cooked food, it's typically grilled (or pan fried) with sesame oil. The cold kimchi flavor and the strong American cheese didn't go well together (I couldn't taste the cream cheese). I am not sure if it was an off day or something (as I see it has other glowing reviews), but grilling the Kimchi before would totally improve the flavor. (And maybe pair it with mozzarella cheese. Koreans love to eat their spicy food with mozzarella, probably because it goes so well together.)
I didn't try the other sandwiches so I can't speak for the other ones, but the atmosphere was great, and the...
Read moreThis new sandwich shop in Woodbine Food Hall in Salt Lake City is legit my new go to sandwich place up here! I had their Grilled Kimcheese last week and I’m still dreaming about it (spaced on taking a picture because I didn’t even take a breath between bites so made sure I got a pic the second time around). I’ll also say if you aren’t usually a kimchi person, don’t let that ingredient scare you because it’s delicious. Today, I had the B.L.O.T. and was equally impressed with that sandwich. The Hot Philly Pork tastes like a classic american meal wrapped into a sandwich with a spicy twist (there is some actual spice so if you’re a spice person, get this and if you’re not just ask for the chili oil on the side). Truly doesn’t seem like you can go wrong with the food here. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and spacious. Plenty of sitting options and the staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. Absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to be back for another...
