My husband and I stopped in and purchased pastry and chocolates. BEST pâte à choux I have ever had!!! 🤤 We purchased an assortment so we could try almost everything. AMAZING! The customer service was next level. The woman who assisted us gave us recommendations, was patient with us even though we didn't know exactly what we wanted and as she was wrapping up our items she put our chocolate box inside an insulated pouch with a couple of mini ice packs! Read about this wonderful little chocolate shop in Gastronomic SLC and had to make a quick trip. The shop was beautifully decorated and had all of the wonderful chocolate creations attractively on display. Tried a few of the truffles, a RoRo (the owner's take on what I think is supposed to be a homemade oreo but filled with divine dulce de leche), and a chocolate treat covered in Coco puff dust. We don’t really have a French pastry culture in Utah. You have Gourmandise and more Gourmandise by a different name. Most pastry shops create similar products. I appreciate what they did here. To justify the price you’d need to understand and appreciate bonbons as an art form. The tempering of chocolate and the ingredients in the fillings.
