Place is called Sevin. It used to be Basil Mediterranean. It's entirely different ownership. The place looks somewhat the same I can see it's given in a different facelift at the back of the restaurant. It certainly is nicer than the previous. They certainly pay attention to making sure they keep the place cleaner than the previous. Young man was our server. A little inexperienced but did a fine job. I don't ever give my service a hard time. They're doing their best. But he certainly took the time to explain the dishes if we had questions. And overall that makes up for anything because he knew the dishes well. They don't have the traditional naan bread. It's an actually cooked bread with sesame seeds and it's got a crispy top. Very fresh bread very wonderful and they bring it with a kind of a tomatoey paste with a little bit of oil that comes with a spice. It's not my favorite. But it does work well. I had a chicken kabob meal and my friend had a dish I can't remember but it was a pita on the bottom of the plate with sliced beef on top and had a tomato sauce and it came with a Greek yogurt. With my chicken kabob came a Greek salad which tasted a little off but sometimes it's the dressing for me. So grilled vegetables zucchini squash and carrots all cooked wonderfully and a little pilaf of rice. You can taste the lemon and spices on the chicken cooked wonderfully. So when people think of Mediterranean they think of the place called Pasha. They're decent this place is a couple dollars more per plate. But a hell of a lot better than Pasha. I think Pasha has decent prices but their food is a hit and miss. This place outshines in flavor and the portions are about the same. In other words I'll recommend this place all day long over Pasha so please come...
Read moreHoney Baked Ham stop by to pick up the most delicious rack up ribs I have ever eaten. Meat falls right off the bone, and the price is just under $22.00, and the macaroni and cheese definitely would recommend very moist and load it with cheese. Did not care for the baked beans to go much going on with a variety of beans in them. Now the ham is by far delicious as well. And if you don't know their sandwiches, selection is definitely worth the stop .I always say check out the menu before going and order ahead. Just let them know when you will pick up and easy ready to go. They do have a small area to sit in if you would like to eat there. And no, they don't deliver . Great and friendly staff really appreciate that. You can go to their website and order earing you points towards...
Read moreThe Colonnade III is just a strip mall on the access road of IH-10 between Wurzbach Rd. and Huebner Rd. (If you are travelling west). There's a good amount of restaurants, hotels, specialist shops, bars and more. As of late, it's beginning to look a little run down... but over the past week, they seem to have begun renovations in order to have the area look better - probably to entice new businesses to rent/lease the unoccupied units that haven't had any businesses locate there in quite a while. Hopefully, after revitalising the area, the strip mall may return to its...
