I have absoluted Daiso 🇯🇵 🏬 after first being exposed to this super cute store chain in Southern CA 😃! They have exceptionally cute 🥰 items like toys 🧸 and stylish bags ✨ 👛 💼. But they also have very practical items like writing instruments ✍️ 🖊️ ✏️ , chopsticks 🥢 and utensils 🥄 🍴, mugs and cups 🍵 ☕️ 🫖 , and yummy snacks (like ramen 🍜, Pockys 🍫 and Hi-Chews 🍬😋) that you can purchase for yourself or as gifts 🎁 for friends and family ❤️🥹! And the best part of all is that you can buy all this at exceptionally reasonable and affordable prices without going broke 😂!
I usually hop over here 🐰 🐇 🦘 after I have my massage 💆♀️ nearby, just to check out 👀 the cute 😍 and amazing 🤩 items in this store 🏬! This particular Daiso 🇯🇵 location in the Westover Marketplace opened almost a year ago in October 2024. So it is almost a year old 🎂 🌟😃!
Daiso at any location never disappoints 😉! I can always find something I like 😝😜!
The employees at the Daiso 🇯🇵 in the Westover Marketplace are always super friendly 💫, willing to help 🥹, and provide excellent customer service 🌟 😃!

Read moreI just left this location after spending about an hour shopping, only to be told they couldn’t accept forms of payment over $50. While I understand our country is shifting toward cashless transactions, this policy is downright absurd. Cash is legal tender, and refusing to accept it alienates customers who may not have access to other payment methods.
Policies like this disproportionately affect individuals who rely on cash for budgeting, don’t use credit cards, or lack access to digital payment systems. Businesses should prioritize inclusivity and convenience for all customers, not impose arbitrary limitations that create unnecessary frustration.
Cash remains a critical payment option for many people, and it shouldn’t be sidelined in favor of a cashless future. This kind of policy is not just inconvenient, it’s exclusionary and undermines the principle of accessibility in commerce. Businesses need to rethink these practices to ensure fair treatment of all customers.

Read moreI really like Daiso in general though this is more for their large selection of affordable goods that they offer while still having a high quality standard. This Daiso is actually the biggest one I have been in within Texas (so far) and was pleasantly surprised with the variety it had compared to the location in Alamo Ranch. It was also a lot less crowded too which was a plus in my book. The only complaint I would have is the one I share with all American Daiso which is the price conversions from Yen to dollars are insane to the point that having a chart makes no sense. Just make stickers for all items. Other than that, I really loved this location and is my...
