I have been a customer of James Avery for some time now, I usually go to the quarry location but this one was a little bit closer so I decided to give it a try.Well, I WILL NOT be going back and I will tell all my friends and family to avoid this location as well. I was given attitude for no reason and the lady was very smart-assy, in front of my 11yr old daughter no less. I was told I would have to wait 4 days to get 2 charms put on my bracelet and when I asked if it was ok if I called the other location to find out a time frame for the same thing the lady said "sure go ahead, if you happen to find somewhere that will do it faster you need to go there!" With 100% attitude in her tone of voice. Even my kid picked up on it. Well, the other location said I'd be able to pick it up the next day, which is the time frame I'm used to, so I went there instead. Which was another 20 minute drive. Read moreI've often window shopped at the store. My husband bought me a butterfly pendant a few years back but I hadn't bought anything recently until preparing for Christmas gifts this year.
The family we chose to help with Christmas gifts had asked for several James Avery jewelry. I felt it would be a lasting gift. With covid, we were advised to take pictures of what we wanted with the SKU number and go to the counter when ready. I got the ballerina shoes because it was specifically requested. The little girl does ballet. I got the dove for another girl because I loved the intricate design and hope she loves it too. One of the boys asked for a cross pendant and I chose the plain Latin cross. One of the other girls asked for either the M ring or the butterfly ring. Those were slightly above my budget so I got her a $40 gift card instead.
Very excited to give the gifts, knowing most of them are getting exactly what they asked for.

Read moreVery poor customer service! I went to return a graduation gift and the staff member accused me of trying to return a promotional item from over a year ago! Graduation just happened. Why would I keep an item from over a year ago? why would it be in their new logo boxes and all shiny and new? I got so frustrated I just asked for a different person to help me. It’s been a crazy stressful year and I didn’t even get to walk the stage at my graduation.
I did not need some old white lady accusing me of being dishonest. She wore no name tag but had blue eyes, 80 style bangs, long brown hair in a tacky fuzzy hair clip. Supposedly she is a leader in the store according to the other person who I worked with. If that is true it explains the rude encounters other customers complained of. She is a poor representation of the company.
