This review is for Zac Cantù he was kind patient with my daughter and myself and got straight to helping us in every way got us the best deal. If it wasn’t for him my husband and myself would not have returned 4 days later to add to our account a bedroom set and a fridge.Thank you for your help On day of delivery there was a miscommunication on the stores fault when the guys showed up to deliver a standard size fridge nothing fancy about but apparently I was told I need to remove my door or they could not leave it and take it back or the could leave it in drive way I was confused as to what was even going on I e bought a fridge before and was able to pass right through anyway I asked guys ok what do we do in a situation like this clearly this could not have been the first Time I said I already paid for the fees let me call store to see if I can get my money back on fee or if I would be charge again for them coming another day, and that’s when the problem began with Bri I was already frustrated with the situation and her solution was I’m not giving no money back we don’t do that if don’t like it bring the fridge back and will give you your money back I of course gave her back the same energy she was giving me and the next she says is i should know the measurements of my door and what I’m shopping for I thought that was the most idiot thing she could say clearly she sounded ridiculous as to a customer goes in thinking I’m bringing my measuring tape with me or I should know the measurements of door of top of my head so then her feelings got hurt along the way of me speaking to her so with her professional manner she hangs up on me ha as if I cared I called back she answered saying something smart I said let me talk to your manager and her response was he knows already ha ok let me talk to him so he proceeded to have same energy as her so professional he had me on speaker and I asked him about that he from the start was not hearing anything I had to say because she was heard speaking about me as if I could not hear he brought up a scenario about a washer and dryer sizes and some bs clearly he sounded uneducated or maybe it was the juice he drank or the steroids he took earlier that had him speaking that way but clearly they were both no help and Roger ego must of been hurt a long the way because he also threatened to hang up on me so if you need to to buy anything from Mega furniture go to one on Ingram or else where.Lets just say Roger the manager was not managing anything and you can say him and Bri are attached at the him they both sounded ridiculous if it wasn’t for them running my credit and already had signed a $5,000 contract I would have gone elsewhere. Read moreNever should've stopped at this store. We went in picked out a couch set & set up delivery for 3 weeks later giving them plenty of time. It was right before my birthday dinner with our family. Everything was set date on a Wednesday 10/28 & time after 3pm due to work. The day of delivery they show up to deliver at 9am when we were set for after 3pm due to work. They even asked if I could send someone/a neighbor to go open the door. I contacted the customer service # regarding the early delivery & the lady said they had another delivery in the area and thought they'd get ours done also. Why even bother to schedule a time if they're going to show up when they want? So she ended with saying if they had time they'd come back at the end of the day. They did not return. The next day we contact them to find out if they will be delivering that day. They said not that day to call on Friday. Friday morning I call and the lady says my couch set is on the truck and the driver will call before they deliver. So I stayed home from work since they couldn't schedule a time. I had 1 day til family was to come in to town. When they finally showed up they only had a loveseat and recliner. Missing the sofa. Never during my purchase or all my calls was I told that I had to special order the couch. It was a set. So I decline the furniture and contact the store. After I let them know the situation I was put on hold and they never came back on the phone. I called them over & over but no answer. So we went and purchased another set from another furniture place and got it the same day. No problems. I then contact the financing company and they can't cancel payment unless Mega Furniture cancels it. The sales person contacted us and asked if we could wait on the sofa because they don't have it and would have to special order it. She should've told us that prior to selling it to us. We told her to cancel the sofa set. She said ok but her manager will have to contact us he'll be calling us right back. No call from the manager and we were charged our first payment for the set. This place is the worst! They have the worst customer service and they basically scam you to get a sell. How could you sell something you don't have not even in your warehouse??? It was a matching sofa set! Nothing special about it! So now I'm out 1 day of work and $600 all because they sold us a sofa set they didn't have. They did not hold up their part of the contract. Read moreWe bought a sectional with a chaise last year in February. The salesman said the chaise could be moved to either side of the couch. To my understanding, it would look the same on either side. When we had it delivered, we had them install it the orientation we wanted. You could tell at that point, one side of the couch was longer than the other and made the couch look unappealing. I'll take the blame for not asking about the orientation thoroughly, but I was told the chaise could be moved. When I read their return policy, it states all sales final. Also, Mega will charge you a minimum of 40% restocking fee if they approve a return, exchange, or cancellation. We accepted the fact and figured that we could use the couch for a while as is. Sometime after the summer, we noticed the back piece had part of the wood frame sticking out. We called Mega and were told that we needed to file a warranty claim with the protection plan we purchased. The warranty said we should still have manufacturer warranty coverage. Called mega back, and the receptionist tried debating the coverage but eventually gave all the info. I travel a lot for work, so it was hard to file the claim with mega since I could not be home long enough to arrange it. Fast forward to August '23, we filed a claim with their 3rd party warranty, as we were told it would cover everything, including framing. We were told by the warranty that structural damage is not included in the policy. Looked up the reviews of the 3rd party ( Protectall by GBS) and it seems that they have a 1 star review and people have had multiple issues with the company denying even the smallest of stains and tears. Now, I'll have to and spend more money on a new couch since this one barely lasted 2 yrs. Buyer beware. You may find exactly what you're looking for here, but don't buy the warranty protection and make sure to inspect whatever it is you're having delivered thoroughly.
