We have always had a good experience at this theater but this time was probably the worse. My husband and I went to the theater on Wednesday early afternoon to purchase Alien merchandise. We were looking at the display case, I had to ask the employee if we needed to check-out where she's at, because no one called us over or stated they can help us there. Mind you It was NOT busy at all. I noticed right away the shown hispanic girl was wearing a different color shirt from the rest of the employees, manager came to mind. She didn't say "hello", no smile, just what can I get you? We started to ask questions about the Alien merchandise and if the shipment came in? She gave us the answers we were looking for and then she seemed bothered to go get the merch from the back. Then the next employee wearing a black shirt cashed us out and then she had a bad attitude. I then told my husband and I said it where she can hear me "everyone is not so friendly here." Right away I noticed the girl changed her attitude. The manager came back, dropped the popcorn Alien tub on the counter and did not look happy to go back because we wanted another one. Again, came back and dropped it on the counter. My husband and I were not happy, we walked away pretty upset. All bad attitudes, I understand its early, its dead in business or maybe they didn't have that redbull or coffee, but anyone contributing to business, providing money to the business for their paychecks should not treat people like crap. I used to hate when people said "I was a manager for so many years." Guess what I am one of those people, and apparently I have to make complaints more often because so many employees today are lacking good customer service, and need to be coached, if they cannot then move on to something else, but customer service is needed everywhere in the world. I worked as a manager for 8 years for a movie theater chain, coaching, write ups and sit downs was a huge thing in the company, but it needed to be done. Managers get it as well. We will go back to the theater because we are always looking for merchandise for huge movies, hopefully next time I won't have to call corporate or speak to the General...

Multiple issues hampered my experience greatly.
The bottom and top of the screen were cut-off and therefore not visible, which also obscured majority if not all subtitles making it impossible to understand what was going on.
Myself and a handful of others approached the employees, pointing out the issues that had occurred, after which we were informed somebody would be sent to check on the projector, which took a long time to occur.
We were also informed, even if the issue was resolved, the movie would not be reset, meaning the audience would have to watch with little to none of the movie's exposition and context.
In the end, by the time myself and many others asked for refunds and left, the issue had still not been resolved.
The whole situation saddens me, as I had intended to attend the movie with my family. As a result of the situation, the fact that Look Back is only to be theaters for 2 days, and most theaters being nearly old out, my family must go to another theater and sit apart just to watch the movie we had already reserved seats for a week in advance at Regal Cielo Vista due to it failing to meet the expectation that the movie would be watchable. Hopefully Santikos' theaters will not make the same mistake as this theater.

Read moreI went to see Creed II last night and I will probably never go back to this theater again. I went to the 10 pm showing and I guess after a certain hr the staff just stops being attentive to guests. When we walked inside there was a group of employees just all standing around talking and we had to wait for their conversation to finish before we were helped. Even then they still continued talking during my transaction, and I can assure you that none of that conversation was work related. Next we walk up to the concession area and the girl working behind the counter was not friendly just seemed like she wanted to hurry up and rush us out of the line and after I would add a item to my order she would respond with "okay what else do you want" which in my opinion is not customer friendly. Once we had our drinks and snacks we went to our screen, and it didn't get any better from there. We usually like to sit at the very top right in the center so we started to make our up the stairs when we noticed there were half to almost empty buckets of popcorn on a few of the seats and soda cups on the floor just trash on a lot of seats in a couple of rows. at first I thought maybe these were people that just went to the bathroom or went to play some games, but no one ever came back so I can only assume that it was trash from the previous showing which is just horrible. I had read so many great reviews on this place so I was surprised when I saw the complete opposite of those reviews.
