Great experience at this little museum. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable giving detailed tours on the history of African Americans in San Antonio and in general. It only has two rooms but it still is loaded with unique rich information. I only wished they had more items the store. It’s not that far from the other attractions and being that it is so small it won’t take that much time. It’s a great place to learn African...
Read moreMy group had an excellent time. I believe the location is an historical site. It has an amazing timeline of events that are significant to African American culture. Ms.Mya gave us a tour complete with details. The SAACAM is quaint but has quintessential information for Black history in San Antonio and beyond. They do have a transportation section with a replica of Ms. Rosa Parks seat from the launch of the bus boycott. Enjoyed my time at the SAACAM. I was also able to purchase a mug and add a donation to the SAACAM, I recommend you to...

I especially enjoyed the Keyhole music experience. And the staff is wonderful. Ethan was very knowledgeable and taught so much about my city that I didn’t know. I’m looking forward to the museum’s expansion and urge folks to stop by. It won’t take long and it will give you a deeper appreciation for the African American community’s impact...
