A Fun-filled Experience at The Rock at La Cantera! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Rock at La Cantera, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful outdoor ambiance that surrounded me. This place truly knows how to create an atmosphere that exudes relaxation and enjoyment. My visit coincided with the Rhythm and Beats Rnb event, and boy, was it a evening to remember! The energetic beats and soulful tunes kept everyone on their feet, creating an incredibly lively and vibrant atmosphere. The music selection was top-notch and had everyone grooving to the catchy rhythms. Whether you're a fan of RnB or simply enjoy good music, this event was definitely a winner. One of the highlights of my evening was getting a front-row seat to watch the Women's Final Four on the Big Screen. The setup was flawless, allowing me to immerse myself in the excitement of the game while surrounded by fellow enthusiastic sports fans. The viewing experience was second to none, and I felt like I was right there in the stadium, cheering alongside passionate supporters. What really stood out to me about The Rock at La Cantera was the amazing sense of community. Everyone present was having a great time, mingling and immersing themselves in the lively atmosphere. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured that everyone had a memorable experience throughout the evening. I left The Rock at La Cantera with a huge smile on my face and a promise to return for their next event. It's the kind of place that you can't help but be drawn to, an oasis of great music, sports, and incredible vibes. Went to the latest watch party on 2/23 and had a great time but definitely saw some opportunities. Some feedback if it helps: The screen didn’t come on until tipoff I think it’d be great to have the pregame on as well while fans settle in. There wasn’t anything else happening at the time we were just being shown a slideshow of ads in silence. Signage for parking was not very clear only had one that pointed to the south lot and a space to continue to north lot but nothing that indicated that was also a parking lot for guests. Bigger events should definitely have at least one more bar, maybe one that is drinks only so lines move quicker. This watch party only had the bar in the back (that I noticed) and lines were long throughout the entire game The rock advertises a 40 foot led screen but there is a huge L shape reserved for ads that takes up at least 30% of the screen. I understand ads are necessary but that seems a little excessive. Maybe some smaller screens to the side of the main screen exclusively for ads because it did make the picture of the game significantly smaller. Perhaps just leave the bottom strip instead of also having it move up on the left side of the screen. (Picture attached. Where you see victory capital all of that screen space is strictly for ads and the game never takes up the entire screen) Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back, just some quality of life things we thought could be improved. This has become one of my favorite places. There's so much to do, & it's very well-kept. Follow their Socials on FB & IG to keep up with their events schedule. They often have live music, free movies, karaoke, etc. Great place to go with kids, or without. They have some really cool basketball goals & a splash pad. They have free water on hand for you to refill your own bottle. No outside food or drink is allowed, since they have food & drink stands/truck there. (See Menus I posted, but they can vary.) The restrooms are clean, but the toilets don't have seats, so be ready to do some squats! Lmao My only constructive criticism is that I wish there was a curfew for kids; no one wants to be around kids running, screaming, crying, etc. (& I'm a parent, too). Literally babies & toddlers were there at 10 pm last night while their parents ignored them & drank booze. Smmfh..get a nanny or drink at home, peeps! I'd love to return for their occasional 21+ events. It should be no minors after dark.

This was my first time visiting The Rock at La Cantera, and I have to start by mentioning the parking—it was spacious, clean, and there were plenty of spots available. I attended a Yelp Elite Christmas XMas! Party, and it was truly a delightful experience - such a memorable occasion. I enjoyed every moment, and the treats and services were both special and fascinating. I wasn’t expecting the event to be outdoors, but it all turned out perfectly. The Crispy Chicken Mole Taco was an absolute knockout—I never would have thought to try such a dish, but I’m so glad I did! I’m already craving another one. The Brugal 1888 was a pleasant surprise, and it paired wonderfully with hot chocolate and marshmallows. So delicious. And a special shout-out to Dorp Creamery for their incredible Ube ice cream—what a treat. Lastly, thanks Yelp for hosting such meaningful events like Adopt a Grandfamily. It was an honor to be part of such a rewarding experience.

Took my daughter to play at the splash pad. She loved it but, some of the water goes pretty high for the tiny ones. I love how they had food for us there too. She had chicken tenders and strawberries and I had the goat cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup it was really good. The kids meal is very decent size so brought home for my oldest to finish off lol. They do have adult drinks as well and I also really like how they offer water for the kids to have while at the splash pad too. I was told they have a coffee spot too but, It wasn’t open when I came. Hopefully next time I can try the coffee. Very nice spot for the little ones and moms to have a nice play date with friends.

Wow! We were fortunate enough to be invited to an event hosted by the San Antonio Spurs at The Rock at La Cantera, and I'm left so impressed I'm speechless. The event was at Victory Capital Perfomance Center, which is inside the Rock. Everything the San Antonio Spurs Organization does is beautiful and state of the art. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and yet professional.Everyone we met wanted to make sure we were comfortable and wrlcomed. We had a great time inside. I can't wait to attend an event outside in the beautiful courtyard.
